This lighter is just plain badass. No, it's not engraved into the lighter itself. There's a separate piece of metal with the design that they slap onto the lighter. The wolves are cool (one had a penis face, which does get noticed quite a bit). The lighter works perfectly. The top wobbles a bit when open, however, most lighters have a bit of a wobble. It's not that noticeable. And it really is fine, because Zippo has a good warranty that factors into this. They fix this wobble even if you mail it in for a different problem. Zippo does look out for it's customers, which is one reason I recommend this product.The lighter works great with a great design. I have gotten several compliments and offers to buy it from me. No thanks, these are my timberwolves. Highly recommended.And no, it does not come with lighter fluid loaded into it. That would be pointless as it evaporates, meaning it would be fairly empty by the time you received it.

This is a well crafted lighter that made an excellent gift.However, the carving on the front is lacking some detail. Small portions of the carving (the ground, sky, and the wolves in the background) do not have the black etching that defines the carving, almost like it has been worn off--it's just silver. Regardless, it's still a beautiful design and I'm sure these minor flaws (or lack there of) vary individually on each lighter.Either way, I am still pleased with the product and my purchase.

It’s a zippo, we both know it’s fine. If anyone is having problems their lighter is probably still factory packed. Remember to repack your new lighter if it’s not going on a shelf or in a collection.

I always have loved wolves and this one stood out to me, better than etched or stickers or paint, I love it.

My husband has always had Zippos since he started smoking 50+ years ago. He received this particular design for Father's Day many years ago. It has now lost a lot of the detail due to constant use but he loved the sentiment and design so much, he was hesitant to get a different design. I searched and found they still produced the design and immediately snapped one up for him. He was so excited when he opened the box. Zippos are the only lighters in our house. Shipping was quick and reasonable. Thanks from my husband!
