Dimension One Ozone Generator Ultra Pure UV Lamp D1

**edit: It appears that the lamp lasted for less than an year. About 6 months ago I noticed the water in my 250gal D1 getting green. not cloudy, filters cleaned, all that. Drained and refilled. Seemed to be OK for awhile then went green again. Since I am filling with treated well water I assumed my water had changed. Now today as I decided to drain again, I thought hmm, maybe I’ll double check the light. Well, whaddya know, it’s out. Guess I’m back to buy another.Easy installation, search youtube for video instructions (now there is one in English) - you don't really *need* thorough instructions, all you are doing is plugging the tubes back on and drilling the bracket in. I had to drill a small pilot hole because the self tapping screw were taking forever.

Did not work – did not generate any bubbles in the hot tub. The reason was that there was poor workmanship on the silicone sealant that surrounds the electric wires and the air leaked out there rather than going to the hot tub. Easy fix with silicone sealant but, when I pay $166 for something I shouldn’t have to fix it before I can use it. (Yes, I could have sent it back to the supplier but that is more trouble to me than fixing it myself).

The item I received had no instructions for installation. I found a YouTube video(which was in Swedish) which explained how to install the item. Also the item needs to be screwed into place. There were no holes for the screws, and I had to drill the holes myself...I was not very happy about this. However, the item works, and that is the most important thing.

Bought a spa recently and the previous owner had never replaced the ultra pure lamp. These things are expensive, but noticeable reduce the need for chemicals thus saving money in the long run. Installation isn't that hard for someone that had some reasonable handy man experience.

Product is as described. No instructions for installation but there is a Youtube video available from a tech (in Swedish but you'll get the drift from the video). Installation was no problem if you are handy at all.
