Give someone a fun hobby, easy maintenance, puts a smile on everyone’s face.
Easy tank to manage. This would be for perfect for the intermediate hobbyist. Safe set up for fish, quiet filter.Let your tank fully cycle for a week at the minimum before adding fish. Get some pretreated water from the fish store to make the transition seamless.Nice aesthetic design. Perfect for staving off boredom, great stimulation for elderly, children of all ages, adults, pets. Everyone enjoys relaxing by it and disconnecting from the gadgets.

Awesome and inexpensive
Great set up and inexpensive stater kit. The pump is really noisy but I will buy a quite one. This is an awesome way to get started and includes everything but the fish. Really nice.

its alright but needs a little help
This tank is awesome for a small tank. I've set it up as a terrarium does everything you'd expect a tank to do. But there are two things im changing im getting a lid made the one it comes with is a flimsy piece of trash and there is only blue light not really good for viewing unless its dark. i give the tank a light 4 because of the lid and lighting

Everything included, nice kit, nice Aquarium
The media could not be loaded. Don't want to jinx myself since I set it up today, but everything seems to be perfect. The only thing off is the only the blue LED lights are working, but that's not a big deal. The tank is only 10 gallons but came with a heater and all kinds of things including water treatment and fish food. I'm going to cycle it for a while make sure that it's nice and clean and everything has settled since it's a planted tank I didn't use the plastic plants they don't contribute to the health of the little ecosystem but an aquarium is). The plants look good; the water's already looking clearer; the filter's working good, even though I do have a replacement bc people say that the filter isn't too great but so far so good. It looks like a really nice tank and I've had more luck with larger tanks but I needed a space where I could watch fish and have a nice planted prettiness with LED lights in my room. Probably won't get GloFish except maybe get some Danios and a nice bottom feeder and then maybe get some other Cardinal tetras or something equally zippy and bright to move around in there against all that black background. Very nice beginner aquarium, I recommend. Fingers crossed that there are no major problems but it really is looking pretty good!

Don’t buy this tsnk!
First off, there were missing items (the food and the water treatment) but I had done on hand anyways, it took me all night to set the tank up, and let me say I’ve had fishtanks on my life… The last piece I put into the tank was the fish eater the red light came on for all of about 30 seconds and then went off the heater died within 15 seconds of being plugged in it was completely submerged of course. I contacted Amazon to tell them that I had already transferred my fish and that I have spina bifida and on and unable to return a 16 pound tank that’s already been assembled with my fish in it I have no other way or no other place to put my fish in the meantime . Amazon refused to send me a replacement heater and told me I would have to return the entire tank said just to get one $15 detachable item that would’ve cost them nothing to send me. I’ve been ordering from Amazon for about two years now and I use them often but after having this experience I will never buy anything from them again. These are living creatures it matters when there’s a defective item and they should take care of it immediately without question. A fish tank is a large thing to try and return especially after you’ve already transferred your fish into their new home. I had a smaller heater left over from the tank that they were in before and that is currently in the tank but it’s not enough to heat this new tank that is twice its size. So now I have to go out and purchase another heater on top of the missing food the missing water treatment and the broken heater. I should’ve read the reviews that people said these tanks were outdated and defective but since I bought the glow fish brand before twice before I thought maybe it would be OK. Except looking back now part of the reason I upgraded to this tank was I had the portrait tank which is tall and the inside filtration system started to fall apart and would come apart . He spent $130 on a tank everything should be working. Nowadays sellers not all but many don’t care once an item is sold they do not care if it works or not they do not care if you are happy or not and I find this type of business disgusting. I seriously hope that nobody waste their money on buying this tank. Go to a fish store or a good pet store and get a tank there were they were honor a defective item. I have nothing but regrets after all the work I put in to setting up this tank .

Great tank, craptastic filter
I love the tank itself for my four glofish and one cory cat. It's just big enough for a few (5 smaller ones, max) happy fish, an air stone and some attractive decorations. They zip around the tank gleefully daily. I love the design and the hood on mine fit perfectly once I filled it with water and decor. The rocks that came with the kit are perfect (make sure you rinse them before adding them to the tank). My main problem with this kit is the craptastic filter that came with it. I'm no newbie to freshwater tanks, large or small, and I've never had a filter that clogs this much this soon. Actually, I take that back. I've never had a filter clog EVER. It's been just over a month since adding my fish (cycled the tank for a week) and after the second week and the initial bacterial bloom, I've had to change the water every 3-4 days because the filter is continually clogged. I feed sparingly (once a day, not at all on the weekends) and test my water each time I do a change so there's no reason for the filter to be clogged like this. The flow and cleaning abilities of this filter are TUH-RASH. It doesn't work. I've resorted to ordering the Whisper Filter PF10 in hopes that this will help.Overall, this is a great desktop tank or starter tank for kids/new hobbyists! I love that it fits perfectly on my desk and creates such a buzz in my office, but they really need to improve this filter. Get rid of it completely actually.
