Got type 2 Diabetes? This is the plate for you.
Portion control is paramount for a diabetic. This plate serves well for the 1/2 greens, 1/4 protein, 1/4 starch rule. It is a bit bigger than the 9" plate that diabetics should use, but it sure does the trick. Thank you Corelle!

These porcelain divided plates are ok
Finding porcelain divided dinner plates would not seem to be problem. You wouldn't think so, but there are few available. I wanted divided plates so sauces and gravy don't all run together as they do on a normal plate. These will have to do for now I guess. They are 10 inch as stated but a 12 inch plate would be better. There are three sections when two would be enough, and the two smaller sections are almost too small and could be larger. Also, the raised dividers could be higher. All in all, they work, but I am wondering if they are for children rather than adults. They stack, seem durable, don't scratch (even with a sharp steak knife). Not pure white but that is not an issue.

Stylish and Practical
Ten years after our last child left home, we were still eating out of plastic divided plates! I decided it was time to transition, but hated the idea of liquids dripping and mixing with other foods, etc. I was surprised to discover this divided plate by Corelle, and quite pleased, as well, since I had already been collecting some other pieces over the years to replace plastic pieces from the years of child-rearing.First, these are an ideal next step beyond plastic dinnerware for homes with children who are ready to learn how to use "real" dishes. Everyone knows that Corelle is sturdier than regular glass or china. Second, for those of us who are just addicted to food division, they're the perfect "adult" plate.The diameter of the plate is perfect BECAUSE the only negative about this product is that it's not deep enough. A smaller plate would be useless for anyone other than a child. The sections can not hold a normal serving OR prevent spills of liquid in particularly juicy foods. Men will likely need to fill their plates two or three times to eat a normal quantity, especially if they work at physically demanding jobs. While portion control is a good thing for those who need/desire it, the ladies may feel a bit gluttonous when having to return for seconds at every meal! This is an adaptable situation since we have learned to simply put less food on the plate, but second servings are needed too soon after sitting down to eat and are inevitably cold. I would never use these plates when having guests, even my own family members, forcing them to go hunting for more food in short order.Corelle has the unique capability of being "dressed up." Plain white Corelle dishes atop a nice tablecloth, or set alongside pretty cloth napkins with holders and/or colorful glasses make for an attractive casual table. Unfortunately, these plates will never be used for such occasions until they are made deeper.Overall, the price is a bit steep for plates that will always be relegated to the eating alone category, yet we're still pleased that there is such an attractive alternative to the plastic divided plate! Who knows, we may get tired of jumping up for those second and third servings and get SKINNY!

Large Plate and Quality Product
I'm so glad to find this plate. I have one but needed another.I've had Corelle dishes for years. It lasted through 3 kids.Corelle doesn't break easily or stain and easy to clean. My Corelle set of dishes were white. Goes with any dining decor whether it's casual or formal.Buy a set, you won't be disappointed.

Outstanding Divided Dinner plate
I really love this divided dinner plate. I had other divided dinner plates but they are not even close to this one in quality. You can put this in the microwave and it is still so easy to clean. I have used one for several years now and it is in perfect condition. So I came back to buy more. This is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I strongly recommend it.

Great for elderly people
I can reheat things like chicken, mashed potatoes w/gravy, and vegetables on the same plate without it all running together in a big mess. The 3 sections aren't very deep but they have enough height that my 90 year old mom is able to scoop things onto a spoon which she prefers to a fork. She eats all her meals from this dish.

Very disappointed
These plates are so small and the dividers so low that in my opinion they will not work for a normal adult. I was very disappointed in these. Had planned to use them to take ready-to-warm-up meals to a neighbor, but they don't hold enough food. It would embarrassing to do so with these plates. If you want something for a child to use at the table they could work. I wanted to like them but these are a no-go for me.

Should be good but I was sent wrong size
Honestly can't say much about this plate, I was sent a miniature version that was nowhere near the size I was expecting. I would assume it's pretty good. The small one looks nice and it's the right size for like a child or my grandpa who doesn't eat much. I would say it's pretty good either way

good as any I have looked
Hi, I bought 2 of these one as a gift. I don't feel the need to have a plate with writing on each portion, it would feel to me, like a baby plate. It is a jolly good plate for anything which you need to divide, apart from the reason I bought them, for portion control. And at sometimes a quarter of the price of others!! Joy.

Great plate
I bought this plate to try and adjust my portion size. My daughter bought the fancy porcelain plate with the writing on - but I did not want to spend so much. I have used this plate and found it great for working out meat/fish, potatoes and veg portions, but I could now do with one for Pasta etc. The plate seems to be of good quality and washes well. The plate is of a pyrex type - reinforced glass. It is dishwasher and microwave safe. Hopefully it will help me lose weight.
