Pay attention to desk depth - Otherwise great
First off, I want to start by saying I have had this for a few weeks and it is great. I have had zero problems with it after installation. The motors work well and are quiet enough that I can go from sitting to standing or vice versa during a Zoom call and no need to mute. The quality is good, the instructions are a little lacking in positioning guidance. Its a little tough to make sure you have it lined up correctly and square. The one warning I would give involves the tabletop. this says it works for 24" minimum depth. This is true, but that is because of the depth of the top supports. the feet are wider. It is around 27-28" for the feet. If you want this to sit near flush to the wall you need a wider tabletop. I was able to offset the desk and close my gap to the wall to around 2" with my 24" top. Otherwise I am quite pleased, no issues with the motors or controls.

Works for a day, but then it's no longer a standing desk
So, I decided it was time for a standing desk as it looks like I'll be working from home for an extended period of time. I have a standing desk at the office and love it. I found this product because it is L-shaped so plenty of desk top space. The warranty is what sold me. I went ahead and ordered the desk, found two desk tops that would fit. I put the desk together by myself in under an hour. The instructions say before using the desk, to go through a reset step. I did that, all was good. I raised the desk, all was good, I tried lowering the desk, and it got stuck. No worries, let me perform another reset. Hmmm, it lowered all the way, but it won't reset, and the screen says RST. I shoot an email to tech support, they reply the next day that they will send a controller. I get the controller, install it, same thing. I let them know, and they have me do some basic troubleshooting, and ultimately send another desk. That warranty paid off. So i get the second desk, build it again by myself in under an hour, go through all the steps and it works perfectly. On day two, I try to raise it to standing level and one of the legs won't go up. I try to do the reset and same thing happens. Two of the legs whirl in place and one doesn't do anything. I do all the basic troubleshooting that they asked the first time, to include using parts from desk one on desk two. I notify tech support and am awaiting the outcome. At this point I've done more building and troubleshooting for this desk than I've actually gotten to use the desk. BTW, the low level where you do the reset is 63 cm, which makes it just a little too low to use as a desk and sit comfortably.I'll update this review upon conclusion of this whole process. For now though, I have to give it one star because I have two L-shaped desks sitting at 63 cm and can't use either.

TechOrbits 3 leg L shape Sit Stand Desk Frame
I have recently purchased The Tech Orbits electric sit-stand desk model OF-33R. 3 leg L shape stand sit model for a corner installation and am glad I did.Assemble went well except for the fact that I had to grind down the corners of metal on each center bracket in order for bolt holes to line up for a 90 degree angle of the extension arms, A flat metal file could have been used as it was less than a 1/8 inch off the corner edge, I chose my 4" metal grinder. Not a big deal for me, however: maybe an issue for someone in a metropolitan area on the 26th floor of their office without access to a full shop of power and hand tools. No complaint from me as the pricing for the unit made it possible for me to have one at all with the budget I was working within. I am fortunate to have had much experience with products manufactured in other countries which may or may not have exacting tolerances in manufacturing as we demand here in the U.S..Instructions where simple enough although cable trays where not explained, as well as no mention of extension arm bolts (I thought was missing 8 on one extension arm until I surmised that they needed to be divvied up between extension arms to hold the cable trays). Easy enough to figure out; however the guy on the 26th floor who is a wiz at excel and not much more might not have the mechanical sense to figure it out.In any case Thank you TechOrbits for providing a product at a price point within my budget that will save me hundreds of dollars in physical therapy for the long hours spent a my desk! For those of you who are considering this purchase I deliberated and researched for about a week and decided that the 3 year warranty and the competitive pricing was worth it. It is heavy once assembled and you cannot be timid about figuring thighs out as the instruction manual is short on explanation and direction other than the basics.I did call Tech Orbits customer service as I was having a issue of it stopping during the raising operation however when I went to shoot video of the problem after the support call to submit to them, I couldn't get it to repeat the problem and it now works fine. Either its tech support through Quantum physics or Murphy's law; you choose. In any case I was happy with their response via email and phone support.During my first work session I found myself standing more than sitting and I am happy to say after a 6 hr work session I was able to walk away and not be stiff from sitting for 6 hrs straight.I would recommend this product to a friend and I believe it is worth the price especially if you spend most of your day in front of a computer!I have rated it 4 stars basically because of the above mentioned issues, however at the price point this unit is sold at and their support I believe it is a 5 star choice.
