I got this for my father who has one other style. He likes this one best of the two - it increases his comfort level, and that's the important thing. Happily, this one is less expensive than most others too. This one seems to run a bit small so get a size up from what you would expect to need. I had to return the first one, and thought the seller was very cooperative about the return and quick with the exchange.

I at first mis-read the sizing instructions. The sizing asks for the hip size not the waist size we usually expect,My waist size is 32 and I ordered a large. Fit perfectly. The tightness is controlled by a very strong Velcro waist band.. Sometimes hard to get off quickly until you get the hang of it. Did the trick. I ordered a second one.

I have been wearing a hernia belt for decades. I have used hernia belts from Alpha Brace for over a decade, and like this new version over the old. Seems to provide better coverage and I like the flat insert pads better than the tear drop shaped previous design. Also, there is no vinyl on this to crack. Over all this does the job for me and is a good value for the money. I plan to purchase this one again in the future.

Most of the truss is good, except the adjustment straps are diffacult to adjust.Also the sewing around the pad pockets is comming apart because in places thecloth was not caught in the sewing line. It still works ok.

Very limited usefulness because it causes discomfort (and even pain when sitting).Support seems to be good when standing up or walking.

I purchased a couple of thee about a year ago. They work great and at such a great price, I decided to buy a few more so I would not be washing them everyday.

OK, I have been managing my hernia on a watchful waiting basis for about 6 years and using hernia supports to help manage. I may get surgery this year but only non-mesh tension free. Stay away from mesh surgeries!!! Many, many problems. Do your research! Shouldice in Canada or go to Vegas and see Dr. Peterson. Don't do mesh!!! So about this support: These supports suck. The best supports out of the many I have tried come out of UK from The Support Company. They have a truly flat pad support. These cheesy supports do not have a real flat pad. It's a black foam and it doesn't do a good job of keeping a hernia in. Also, it's a pain in the ___ with the buckles. It was worth a try at less than $20 but as they always say "You get what you pay for!".

This product has made life and work lots more comfortable. It fits great and really really works.
