These things usually either work or they don't, and this one works great. It's used in a church A/V booth where the video system is a mix of older VGA and newer HDMI equipment. The large flatscreen above the booth (for viewing from the stage) has no VGA input, so we need to convert the original VGA signal to HDMI. The video signal path runs from the computer VGA output through a VGA splitter (for projector, PC monitor, and overhead flatscreen) to a VGA-to-HDMI converter and finally to this splitter that feeds the flatscreen and one other cable for any other screen that might be needed. All this explanation just to show that, in spite of the hodgepodge of cables, splitters, and converters, this little splitter works perfectly. Of course, there's no audio from the original VGA feed, but if we need sound, it is fed directly from the PC to the board anyway. I would definitely recommend this if you need a 1-to-2 HDMI splitter.

The images don't do it justice, you have to get your hands on it to see if it the item you are looking for. That's the one issue I had, was that i had to purchase to find out if it was gonna work for me and did it deliver. When doing game capture you have some restrictions when you try to just connect and play, this item help bypass those restrictions and you end up receiving high picture quality and even some things that make it illegal that I won't mention. Didn't have to work with tech support because it's easy to use and self explanatory. The items capabilities and durability make this item very functional and for such a low price, I recommend it.

Worked as expected but only 4 starts because the initial shipment only had the power supply and no splitter. Replacement was quick and complete as I hoped. Satisfied with the order but dinked a star due to needing to request replacement and then take original shipment to UPS for return.

Split TIVO. 1 to TV, 2nd to 4 splitter to 3 TVs in basement. Works great.

Great, just what I needed

My Input is a Fire stick. output 1 to a TV and Output 2 to a Projector. Video quality was great. Audio was my issue. Whenever I would tun the TV off the back on later, I would need to unplug (power cycle) this box to get audio. If I wanted to switch from TV to projector, same thing. Basically the audio wouldn't work without power cycling with every change or use. Tried two different units with the same results. Returned both and went with the Monoprice version instead. That one is much better (but 3x the price).

One 4K In, 2X Out: Seems simple right? But that's not what this is. It's "4K in" which is downsized to two 2K signals Out.Granted, buried in some of the notes and spec.s I can see now that this box does NOT output two 4K signals, but that's NOT made very clear (if at all) in the way it's presented. For what it does do (split a signal into two 2K signals) it works just fine and is clearly a well-made product. It's just that I'm having to send it back because that's not at all what I was looking for: I needed a device to take a 4K signal and send it out as two 4K signals.I have to believe that more than a few customers would end up with the same issue because of how this product is described. Note also that I am extremely comfortable with all manner of technical setups (I even worked at a high-end audio store at one point) so this isn't at all the case of being "new" to this sort of thing; it's just a badly presented Product Description.
