Mechanics of Offshore Pipelines
The book was received in new condition. I have only looked through the book, it does seem very comprehensive and has a lot of good information the manufacture and installation of the pipe and how this affects the pipe strength capacity. It also has the expected information on buckle propagation and initiation with combined stresses.

Knowledge Pack
Mechanics of Offshore Pipelines Volume 1 is the best available material in-print for the working engineer. It is a well researched and written book ,covering the required topics in requisite detail. It provides an excellent understanding of the fairly complex subject of behaviour of tubulars transporting fluids under complex loads. It provids an understanding to the subject with a fairly wide canvas -starting with pipe fabrication at manufacturer's plant through the dimensional & size tolerances, their impact & limitations during the essential installation phase to pressure retainment during operational phase. The subject treatment is excellent!A first on many counts.A must on every pipeline engineers desk!!The planned subsequent Volumes are alreary sold if we go by this one !

Great book for pipeline buckling and collapse
This book provides the differential equations to simulate the buckling and collapse of pipes. The focus is for offshore industry and is a great guidance for scientist working with experimental testing of pipe structures.
