Nice weight, nicely built, pretty comfy
My first question when buying a watch is always weight. Often lower cost watches end up being lightweight, cheap, and anything but durable. So I immediately picked up the watch and compared it to other watches I own. It's weight was in line with other watches I've owned for years, so immediately my fears were resolved. Lightweight watches are nice, but there is a limit as to where lightweight becomes too light. The band is comfy, my only complaint is with the clamps. The release extends a smidgen further than my other watches, so every now and then when I move a certain direction, I feel the clamp pushing against my wrist. But this is a small complaint. In the few weeks I've been wearing the watch, I have this issue once every couple days. The dials on the watch ALL work. The one thing I will point out is that the minute and second dials create a dedicated "stop watch". You press the top side bronze button to start and stop the clock and the bottom side bronze button to reset the clock. Outside of that, the two dials remain stationary.Setting the watch is as expected. Retract the crown to the first point to adjust the numeric date, retract to the second point to adjust the watch's time itself. The hourly dial works actively alongside the watch. Truthfully it's addition feels unnecessary, but I believe the focus was form, not function. It acts to better balance out the look of the face of the watch. In short, I'm impressed and pleased with the watch. The ticking is practically silent. I can only hear it when my ear is inches away from the watch.

It’s nice
I like the watch. The price was great and it looks sharp. Could be a little larger for my liking.

I love it; but it was a pain to set up!!
Let me start out by saying I love the design and materials of this watch. It looks just as beautiful in person as it does in the picture. If that's your reason for purchasing, go right ahead; but be warned of what my experience in set up has been. It arrives loose, as chain watches should -- it comes with a tool to eject pins so that you can remove links from the band (watch a tutorial video if you have never adjusted a watch band). I was happy that it came with a tool and got right to ejecting pins. Instantly, I realized these pins are WAY TOO TIGHT in the links for this tool to adequately function. I was able to get one pin out, bending the tool in the process and when I went to eject the next one, my hand slipped and the tool went ALL THE WAY INTO MY THUMB. Mind you, it's about half an inch long and most likely not sterile. That's minus one star for me. Thankfully, the pin I had first ejected was a good enough tool to get the rest out until the watch was nice and snug. Then begins the next struggle, setting the watch. I'm going to keep this portion short because it's less significant than getting stabbed. Basically, the instruction manual has instructions for like 5 different watches and they're all extremely unclear and low detail so much of the setup and calibration of the chronograph second hand (why not do this in the factory?) was completed by trial and error. That said, there is some useful information in the manual so I wouldn't completely ignore it -- except for one part of it. The manual for some reason claims that this is an automatic mechanical watch that doesn't need to be winded. This is a complete and total lie, it's a quartz movement powered by a battery which will eventually need replacement. Minus another star for dishonesty. Despite the outlined flaws, I'm satisfied with my purchase and will continue to wear this watch as long as it works.

This is a beautifully finished watch, for only $30
This is a beautifully finished watch, for only $30. Bracelet and case are stainless steel, with the case ion plated in rose gold, and the bracelet an anodized black. I was a jeweler 20 years ago and carried many high end watches such as Concord, Corum and Movado. At that time the ability to process stainless steel with enduring special finishes was quite limited and quite expensive. Not so today. The weight, look and feel of this very inexpensive mens watch is remarkable, and the dial with its rose gold enumeration is impeccable. It's too soon to say how the plated finishes will endure over time, but since there is no evidence of any porosity, I'd say this is definitely a good choice. When you view the photo on Amazon, I suggest that you magnify the image to see the quality of the finishing. Only one caveat; these watches a reported to be water resistant to a certain depth. I personally would not count on this, and would not recommend this watch for submerged usage. Other than that, no issues at all.
