1. I planned to digitalize my vhs, but this device is useless for me: not supporting composite through the component (results in black/white video)2. In addition, the video recorded was unbalanced and "jumping" altough the source is balanced on TV.3. Thirdly, I just tried to record hdmi signal of a streaming TV service (the signal received well on TV) and it did not recognize it at all.Conclusion- I think this device is only useful for those who want to record gaming, e.g. console gaming. IMO they should write it in the desctiption (not mentioning vhs or at least detail more. it is confusing because most VCRs have only composite out).I contacted Diamond and they told me that they recommend another product for vhs, from those who looks like USB converter.I ordered another product for my goal, PCIe based (internal PC card).

This product was ok until I had to actually use the software. Diamond doesn't actually have there own software they rely on other companies software which means they can't support it. Sent a email to the tech department and got a response saying try other capture software, that I would have to pay for. Spend the extra 20 bucks for the next best card who has software they support.

did not work wast of money

Too much trouble shooting, doesn’t work with everything, garbage, I can not find anything good to say about this.

Doesn't work on my ASUS windowns 8.1... Everythime I tried to put it on the computer via USB, the computer didn't recognized it!

Worse game capture ever.. Keeps logging in out, plus freezing, wish I could get refund or store credit

It's really cool just wish the software was a bit more customizeable
