Had one for well over a year to use for my aquarium lighting. Very well-made, absolutely no issues and very easy to program.Love how half of the outlets are constant on while the other half are "switched" using the timer. Time setting remains even after being unplugged, although I haven't tested this over an extended period.Really wish the each of the timer outlets could be independently controlled with different schedules per outlet.. maybe a version 2 soon??That said, purchased two more for indoor Christmas lights. Works fantastic.

This is perfect for my gecko tank. It’s easy to set up. I have both a day lamp and heat lamp plugged in. It’s really useful to have a timed strip and a regular stripz

I got the 8 Outlet Surge Protector with 7-Day Digital Timer yesterday and set it up immediately. The instructions were fairly easy to follow, although I made a few mistakes along the way. It took me about 15 minutes to get everything up and running, which probably could have been quicker if I had been more patient with the instructions.Once set up, I tested the manual, automatic, and overrule functions, and everything worked perfectly. I’m using it to control the lighting in my ball python’s enclosure, and when I woke up this morning, the overhead light had turned on just as expected.I’ll keep testing it throughout the week before heading out of town for the weekend, but so far, it seems reliable. I’m really grateful for the added surge protector and backup battery—gives me peace of mind knowing my setup will be safe even in case of a power outage.Overall, a solid buy if you need a reliable timer with surge protection.

This is very useful and good for the price. It is a little difficult to use. Seems to be durable. No noise.

Works fine but heed this. You must be in clock running mode to set timer to AUTO. Does not mention this in the instructions.

Works perfect bought for my aquascape co2 and lights and hasn’t failed me yet. Easy to program and it’s plug and go.

New Review:After having this for about a year I can say that it has been more of a headache than worth the money. I have read and re-read the instructions over and over to make sure I'm not doing something wrong, but the timer simply doesn't work. I have everything set to turn on at 7am and off at 8pm. The clock is set for the correct time. What actually happens is that it turns on around 6am and off around 6pm. This is while in "auto" mode.Another annoying thing is the instructions don't explain the difference between auto-on and auto-off modes. I've had my lights be on in both settings and in neither one do they seem to follow the program.Further, the description on Amazon says "Easily set up to 8 on/off programs for the timer’s 4 grounded outlets." but if 4 of them are "always on" you actually can only program 4 other ones.Which leads me to my other annoyance: the programs are all coordinated by number, but the outlets don't tell you what number they are, so it's a ton of guesswork to figure out which is which.I'll be reaching out to the company for a warranty replacement.Old Review:First let me say that it works and it is great. Overall I love it.However, the description on the page states that you can adjust the time for 4 outlets, and 4 are always on. However, the device has programmable settings for all 8. I've tested this out and unfortunately it doesn't work, at least not for the 4 that are on the "always on" side. Why have the option for programmable settings for all 8 if only four will work?Second, the program menu has each outlet sorted by number, however there is no indication in the instructions or on the device as to which outlet = which number. It's a bit of trial and error figuring out which outlet corresponds with each number.Other than those two things, works great!

I have several of this brands timers and never had an issue until I bought this one. It worked for a couple months and then the timed side of it stopped working. Well, I'm not taking stars off because I got a defective one, that happens. I contacted the manufacturer and they responded very quickly and sent me a new one that arrived in a few days. So even though the return window was over, they have a 15 month guarantee. I will continue to buy this brand, very happy with them.
