Awesome
I purchased this as a replacement for an older Numark mixer and it is awesome. Love the USB feature, which makes it worth the price over the Encore 1000. Have not gotten to use the MIDI features yet, but looking forward to doing so. Only issue I have is the lack of microphone ports, but to solve that issue, I purchased a separate mic mixer.

Nice Piece Of Equipment
Nice Mixer over all, not too big, not too small. Has a nice high quality output sound and controls. I am not a DJ at all, just got it for having parties at home mostly. The reason why i chose this one is because is an ALL-IN-ONE system. It has plenty of inputs already built-in, such as TWO CD players and USB connections, this way i avoid having to connect additional external hardware such as CD players, which means that i am not going to have a bunch of cables all over the place comming from different sources. Very portable configuration and i am very happy with it.

Doesn't Stand the Test of TIme
Other reviewers must have not used this for any great length of time. I purchased this unit in 2013 to use as a backup & ceremony/cocktail music when they were in a separate room. I have used it a total of 20 times. Microphone jack on it NEVER worked correctly. Sound card is ok at best. Using USB ports - song selection is slow & I only have 30 songs on the flash drive. Now the cd players are beginning to act up. Save your money & look for another alternative.

Qualité et fonctionnalités etonnantes pour le prix !
J'ai longtemps hésité avant de commander cette platine car j'avais aussi en vu la mixdeck express... Problème de la mixdeck : le temps d'accès à la lecture des cd est de 15 secondes et 150€ plus chère !!! Et bien je peux vous dire que l'encore 2000 accède aux cd en 7 secondes! La qualité de son est très satisfaisante, les boucles parfaites, master tempo ok, BPM AUTO fiable, touches hyper réactives, ecran bien lisible et paramétrable etc ... bref que du bon. Ce que je regrette : Les touches ne sont pas éclairées sauf "play" et "cue" donc la console n'est pas directement exploitable dans le noir, de plus il aurait été plus judicieux de placer les touches play et cue devant les jog la notice ne parle pas des branchements à faire en utilisation console midi, et je n'ai pas encore essayé cette option On ne sait pas si on peut lire les disques durs (formatés en fat 32) et quelle est la limite de capacité lisible.

a nice player some very useful features such as the auto fade facility, only one problem i have found is that it will not display the track title or any other info when using normal shop purchased cd s. However if you transfer the cd to a usb stick then it displays the track title. A little thing but a bit annoying. Otherwise a well built and useful piece of kit.
