Beautiful book by Arnold lobel. My three kids aged 5,6 and 7 loved it .

Amazing author. My kid loves this book and author.

El búho protagonista es bastante ingenuo y eso lo hace tierno y gracioso. Son varias historias sencillas, breves y bonitas.

Arnold Lobels stories about Owl are thought provoking, intelligent and written with compassion and humour. In appearance Owl resembles an old man. His preoccupations are those of the elderly and the small child. Tear- Water Tea is a contemplative story where Owl thinks about sad things, including pencils that are too short to use and mornings nobody saw because everybody was sleeping. As he reflects on these his tears fill the kettle, which he then boils and makes tea. In The Guest, Winter knocks at the door and Owl invites Winter in. They enjoy an evening together and when Winter leaves Owl experiences what all of us feel when an interesting and stimulating guest has left, tired, happy and relieved to have a bit of peace. A wonderful read.

Such a great book! Happy memories from reading it with my children and grandchildren! It arrived in perfect shape. One of our favourites, at a great price.

Conosco le opere di Loebel da anni, e' un genio. Qusto libriccino parla di un gufo ma in realta' ci fa cogliere domande, ansie, timori, dei nostri bimbi, anche la forma di un piede sotto le coperte di notte puo' spaventare chi e' piu' piccino e si trova davanti a un mondo grande a volte un po' inquietante. Il libro ci porta a riflettere su questo dato e ci fa capire che non dobbiamo dare per scontato che i bimbi vedano il mondo come noi, o prendere sotto gamba i loro timori, le loro domande, ma rispettarli e proteggerli. Ci costringe ad assumere il loro punt odi vista. E ci fa divertire facendoci pensare. DA LEGGERE con i bimbi! bellissimo
