Lifesaver
I’ve recently been diagnosed with shingles. Honestly the only product that helped with the itch was caladryl. I don’t know about it’s moisturizing abilities. But it helped tremendously with the itch that, (as anyone who’s experienced this horrible condition) can be relentless. It’s truly been a godsend.

Excellent product that my family keeps on hand for many uses. We can no longer find it at small or large pharmacies in our area so I was thrilled to find it at Amazon.

Works for me
Bought a bottle of this while in Mexico after a Mosquito had her way with me. I don't react to most bites but this one got me in a few places that were irritating me enough to seek out a remedy. Seemed to work better than the Benadryl I normally use at home. The Tequila probably helped as well. I think I might reach for this over Benadryl next time. Last thing. I saw someone mention not to use this for plosion Ivey. That would be a for sure. It would likely burn like hell. I think Calamine Pink would be the answer to that unfortunate experience. Caladryl Cear has a cooling feel on application and takes the bug bite itch away inside of 60 seconds. Only needed two or 3 applications and then the itch stayed away. I am a older adult male.

Caladryl Clear is not supposed to Calamine Lotion (The 'Pink Stuff')
There are three different products on the market:1. Calamine Lotion (The 'Pink Stuff'): Contains Zinc Oxide and 0.5% ferric oxide. It does not contain the anti-itch ingredient Pramoxine.2. Caladryl Lotion (also pink): Contains Calamine with Pramoxine for anti-itch. It contains both Calamine and Pramoxine.3. Caladryl Clear Lotion: Contains Pramoxine as an anti-itch. It does not contain Calamine. So, those expecting Caladryl Clear to act as Calamine or Caladryl didn't read the active ingredient labels of the three products.
