Does this work on screaming kids?

Danny Bonaduce (Danny from The Partridge Family) used a shock collar to stop his negative behavior. We saw him when he used it onstage giving his mother-in-law the control. It seemed to make him angry! We've used this collar on our Glen of Imaal Terrier for 3 years and he is very quiet when he has it on, but lets loose at other times. He doesn't seem to mind it. Occasionally he gets zapped then he screams really loud, but I think it just scares him. He has gotten zapped when he wasn't doing anything but playing, then we feel bad but he gets over it.

What is the recommended age/weight for using this collar?

As of 4.10.2014 there has not been an answer that tells me how well these preform on their dogs. If I had used one on my wife we may have been able to avoid our sad divorce, lol. I have a service (Hearing-ear) dog that barks to signal me, but sometimes she does not stop when I want her to. I owe this dog my life and do not want to harm or frigten her, but there are times when I would like to have her stop barking when I want her to.

how big does the collar go

I have a 66 lb Labradoodle, and I had to cut about 6 inches of excess collar off.

Does this product have a money back guarantee by the manufacturer or through amazon if you try it and don't like it? I know that the pet stores do.

This I do not know. I do know that my Sheltie (who is a barker!) has not had the success I had hoped for. You might want to check with the seller; I did not because in truth I just got disgusted. Joe
