Something I actually look forward to drinking

Good for mixing but a weak orange flavour

Lyre's products are not meant to be drunk neat though some people may like to try them like that.I tried it neat and it has a strange taste but I don't know what Triple Sec is supposed to taste like so can't compare them. It has an orangey smell but the orange flavour is quite subtle. Too subtle in my opinion. The overall taste is a bit odd too, maybe even a bit medicine-y.However when mixed it is fine and forms a good base.Poinsettia (For a 300ml glass)50ml Lyre's Orange Sec100ml Cranberry juice (unsweetened)150ml Nozecco (Alcohol free Prosecco - can be bought from any supermarket)Pour into glass in the following order: Orange Sec, Cranberry, Nozecco. Pour over ice if ingredients are not already chilled or mix and shake in a cocktail shaker with ice.

I bought this to use in the alcohol free Lynchburg Lemonade recipe on the Lyre's website. It was an outstanding success so full marks for flavour and value.
