Not so light, but holds my big butt
It's not as lightweight as I would have liked. It's a little bulky to carry around while traveling as a tourist. Still, it came in handy on the many occasions when we needed to take a break from all the sightseeing. I didn't have any issues with it being able to hold my fat arse, though, at some angles, it looks like I've got a stick shoved up my bum. Good thing I don't give two turds what people think.

You don't know how much you need this until you walk a show floor
This was a true godsend for me at CES. I walk 12,000 plus steps per-day while at the show and finding a place to sit that's not on the floor can be hard at times. The past few years attending the show I killed my back and feet and this time I knew I needed something to give my self a break here and there.I researched portable seats, monopod seats, and found like four options. The SitGo had the best reviews out of the four and the best price. I can happily say the SitGo worked very well for me when I took breaks or while waiting for Uber to come pick me up.The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is due to the padding where you sit. I know it's designed for grip and not really to be comfortable but if some sort of thicker rubber would have been added it would have been wonderful and truly gained my five stars.

Nice well made product
Nice quality. Collapses easily. It supports me great and I am a big guy at 6' 5" and 300 lbs.Very secure. Takes a bit of balance to get used to but the learning curve is short. Very light and easy to carry.. With spinal stenosis it provides the relief I need to enable me to walk my dogs longer and stand for longer periods.much less bulky than the 3 legged stools out there. It arrived fast and was in perfect shape.

was so much better than competitive products offered
I was surprised that this product, at a fraction of the price, was so much better than competitive products offered. I actually returned the product because the design was so inferior. There are two design elements of the SitGo that were far better. The design of the extension pole with clearly visible notches make it easier to set up and adjust to the length desired. The rubberized pad seat provides the non-slip surface needed for stability (the other product did not). Great product that works.

This thing is awesome!
This Jon Webb dude is a genius for coming up with this handy dandy little device! I would give him a big ol hug and thank him if I could. Took this to a concert, used it several time while waiting in line. The SitGo worked perfectly to help keep pressure off my terrible back. I was able to join in on the activities with worrying there was no place to sit. If you have issues standing for periods of time or just don't want to, this thing is great and worth every penny! I've used it several times while out having fun with the kids. There is even a clip included to attach it to a purse or backpack.

Great helper for disabled folks!
I bought this to sit on while I'm loading/unloading my motorized wheelchair in my van. I'm disabled and it's very difficult for me to stand or walk. There is a lift in the back of my van that slides out then lowers to the ground and back in again. It's painfully slow, especially loading the chair back in, when it's loading the chair weighs 175lbs and the motors run very slow. Standing at the back of the van operating the lift was almost impossible for me and I would try to sit on my walking cane but it was very unstable and uncomfortable. I was also afraid the cane would bend and I would be injured because it's just thin aluminum tubing. But this thing is a huge help! I saw a review of a very large man praising it and that sold me on it.Now I can SIT while I go through the painfully slow process of loading and unloading my chair and all the annoying tie downs and stuff.I also lean against the van and use my cane to to push me into the van so I'm extremely stable and very unlikely to fall down.I don't bother to fold it up, I just set it at a height that works for me and I just put it in the back with my chair and take it out as needed. But if I ever need to take it with me somewhere else I can always fold it up and clip it to my chair with the clip thingie that was included.

is excellent. It is not heavy
Before I bought it, I went to youtube to see its advertisement. It seems to serve my wife's needs. So I ordered it. It took a little bit longer than I anticipated to receive it. The product, however, is excellent. It is not heavy, it is sturdy and it is easy to use. After a few practices, my wife can easily expand the and shrink the seat with ease. After giving it a few trials, my wife can comfortably sit on the seat. I think it is a wonderful idea for people who need to take a break during a long period of walking and standing while there is no chair available. I highly recommend this innovative product.

Heavy duty
The rest of the similar seats have a low load limit, which means you can't actually sit on them, just lean o them. The sit go, which has about a 50% higher load limit than the average means you lean on it but also sit right on it. It is well designed and very adjustable. It's a little heavy and bulky compared to the light duty models but that's to be expected considering it will hold up 300lbs.

Sturdy seat
Well built but needs a cushion for comfort. I modified mine with an extra pad as I will need to use it for extended periods of time. Now I am very happy with the purchase.

Ingénieux. Solide et confortable!

As described.
It will require careful use. It is easy to overbalance due to the nature of the design, but should meet my purpose.
