I'm feeling shattered and a horrible sense of loss after finishing Stolas
I'm feeling shattered and a horrible sense of loss after finishing Stolas. Hope always just thought schizophrenia was her illness to endure . But everything comes crashing down at the last mental facility she is in. Her dark dreams become reality. Her fears are her premonitions. A balance to help both worlds. Stone is just that, a stone heart or so he tries to believe . His persona is dark and removed from everything around him. Until he meets Hope . She is a force to be reckoned with! Her sass and feisty nature is just what Stone needs. Even after warnings from his associates the warnings fall on deaf ears. So deliciously and well written ! My heart has felt every emotion for Hope and Stone. I'm left with such a sense of longing. I realize Stone thinks his decision is best but he couldn't be more wrong. The second installment to this Dark Souls Series cannot come fast enough! I need more! An intriguing and absolutely brilliant read!

Really Really Good
I picked this up on whim, she is a new author for me, at least I thought. Turns out I've got a few of her books on my reader, I've just not gotten to read them. I'm really glad that's changed. I gobbled up this book, it was fascinating and well written. The mythology is excellent and interesting, unique. The characters are all hiding things. Hope, one of the main characters is dealing with some heavy mental health issues, but there's a whole lot more that goes with that. Stone, our tormented male, is deeply flawed but with reason. You just gotta read it. This was really very good and I'll be picking up Vassago right after I finish writing this. I'm very much invested on where this is all going. I have such a hard time writing reviews, it's difficult to convey how much I liked this and in trying not to give anything away, but yet convince others to read if you like this genre. I feel as I never can give the book enough credit, so please forgive me and just read it.

Amazing New Series From Randi Cooley Wilson!!
If I could give this book 10 stars I would because it would be worth every single one! Randi Cooley Wilson has done it again...she's delivered an amazing new story that will leave you begging for more and with a shattered heart (aka what she does best)! In her first departure from her gargoyle series, Randi crafts an excellent new world, one that involves the 9 circles of Hell! I loved her spin on everything as it was unique but still held that feel of Dante's Inferno that I love. Just as you descend through the circles of Hell, Randi lets us descend into the story so that we fall in love with every single one of her new characters. One thing Randi has always done an amazing job at is giving her readers characters that you love right from the beginning...even the bad ones. And Stolas is no exception! I honestly loved every single character that is featured in this book (well...maybe not Lucifer, but he was such a well-written evil character, I loved him for living up to his namesake devilish-ness). Hope is such a relatable character. She is such a force to be reckoned with and has great sass! I loved her character so much. Hope has been seeing demons and had dark dreams all her life, and because of that she's been told she's schizophrenic. But, obviously that's not truly the case. And when Stolas comes onto the scene, well let's just say he has his hands full with Hope. He definitely didn't expect someone like her to enter his life, but she does...and it's absolutely heart-stopping. Stolas, whose name is also Stone, has hardened his heart and believes he's just as much a devil as his father. That's not the truth though, and even though he's warned away from Hope, he can't resist her. And together they are perfect! Hope softens the stone that is Stolas' heart, and they have instant chemistry. They are plenty of sexy times between them, but I loved watching how both Stone and Hope developed into better, even stronger characters by the end of the book. Seriously though, the electricity between them as off the charts, and I loved every single second of it! All I have to say about Stone though is this: ME GUSTA!The world-building in this novel is fantastic and I truly felt like I was right there next to these characters experiencing everything they were. Everything was so well-written and this book truly sweeps you off your feet. There are some tough subjects that are featured in the story, but Randi remained sensitive to these topics and wrote them realistically. She did an excellent job in these parts and I think it is something that deserves mention. That ending though....let's just say brutal doesn't even begin to describe it! It shattered my heart and left me a mess. I seriously don't know how I'm going to be able to make it until the second book in the series, Vassago, is released! Definitely add this to your TBR list for 2017 because you don't want to miss out!!Happy reading :)

Did not disappoint...well kind of
This is a great start to a new series. I was excited to read it as I read the authors other books and fell in love with them all. The characters are relatable , and well described. I have it 4 stars because while I really got into it, it stopped abruptly with about 10% left in the book that started the revelation series and the royal academy snippet. I would have liked a little more Hope and Stolas. I hope the second installment doesn't take long to come out. I am not a fan of cliffhangers...

Holy Hell !! I want more !!
Randi has always been a favorite of mine, a go to author that never disappoints. Just like Hope I was sucked into the realm of Stolas/Stone. He is both dark and light. Who wouldn't want a man with both qualities? The tension between them is both hot and heavenly. I was on the edge of my lounge chair throughout this book and certainly didn't want it to end. Hope is left believing that she has issues and not special powers. Was this all made up in her mind or was it real? Only time and maybe the next book it will be revealed to us. Just like Hope, I'm left wondering. Despite all of that Hope is a very strong women and I loved her quick wit and snarky comments. I pray the next book comes quickly but the devilish side of me snickers as I'm sure Randi is doing right now killing us with anticipation. LOL

One Hell of a passionate love story!
Really enjoyed the book, loved Stone and Hope, and their connection.... the story is a little bit darker, but interesting characters, and the world Randi creates is inventive and absorbing, transports you to another dimension, kept you wondering about the possibilities the story's direction could go, BUT the end. OMG!!Can't wait for the next book!! Hurry Randi hurry!!!
