Q: What pump do you recommend using with this unit?

Q: We live in a hot area and need a water chiller so bathing/showers are bearable. Can this system be effectively used to chill domestic water to bathe?

I use mine to chill 300 gallon water trough. In the summer it gets 90-100. I have it set to run 3 times a day to keep it “cool” then will let it run for 1 hour or so while in sauna. It will always chill the water to my desired temp. It just takes longer depending on how hot it is outside and the starting temp in the trough.

Q: I need to chill 350 gals from 110 degf to 40 degf in 2 to 2.5 hrs can this model handle, or can you recommend?

The 1.5hp unit is only recommended for 300-500 gallons depending on application.
