light and solid cheap alternative to titanium
good alternative to titanium. 4 for 15$ and lightweight. using them for backpacking. they're big enough to cook a small meal in. yes the handle gets hot but any metal cup will do that. it comes with the territory. that's what your bandana is for.

Inexpensive but very useful aluminum mugs for all sorts of things
At this point in time I think I own about 15 of these, that's how much I like them. While not good for drinking hot drinks directly out of-- the aluminum conducts heat directly to the handle-- it's great for boiling water to be used elsewhere, cooking soup, etc. (Just be sure to use a hot mitt of some sort.) I've quite literally used and abused mine for years and they've put up with the abuse. Dispersing wood pellets into a wood stove, slammed onto the table in a game of Liar's Dice, etc. and none of them have bent or deformed (more than how they originally arrived).Note that these are made of bare aluminum and will eventually oxidize with time as they are not anodized to prevent such a thing, and that certain foods/liquids will "etch" them. I threw mine into the dishwasher immediately knowing that this would accelerate the process drastically and after more than four years and who knows how many dishwasher cycles, I rather like the patina that they've developed. However if you want to keep yours looking shiny then you might want to wash yours by hand.

The perfect hobo cook pot
I used this on my Appalachian Trail thru hike and it worked wonderfully. I bent the handle in so I could make a reflectix koozie that fit better. It is the perfect size for cooking ramen, a whole box of mac & cheese, instant mashed potatoes, and a host of other backpacking fare. After 2,200 miles of being banged around in my bag with my cook kit inside and sadly infrequent washings, it still held up great. I would highly recommend this cook pot for a cheap, light weight option.Weight: 3.56oz or 101gMy cook set up:Pot: 3.56 ozRelectix Koozie: 0.93ozBRS 3000t stove: 0.89ozREI Mini multiTowel: 0.60ozGSI Scraper: 0.64ozIsobutane 100g fuel: 7.16oz when fullMini bic: 0.40ozTOAKS Titanium Long Handle Spoon with polished bowl: 0.70ozRubber band to hold it together: 0.05ozTotal weight without fuel canister: 7.77oz / 220gTotal weight with full fuel canister: 14.93oz / 423gMy cooking method to save on fuel was to add all of my ingredients and get the pot up to a boil. Then turn the stove off and place the pot into the koozie and set aside. I would then set up camp. By the time my tent was pitched, mattress inflated, and everything unloaded and set up; my food was ready and still piping hot.

Handle conducts crazy heat from tea.
Way bigger than I expected. Biggest issue is the handle conducts immense heat from its hot contents. Totally unusable for hot beverages. Which is what they advertise it for.
