Speedball Earthenware Glaze, Black, 16 Ounce

Arrived with a very cracked lid, have been storing wrapped tightly in grocery bags, but what's really been bothering me has been that the glaze comes out somewhat blue. I don't know how the cracked lid could have affected the glaze itself, drying out and whatnot... Maybe I just didn't stir it enough, all I know is it's kind of splotchy, kind of iridescent and matches my natural-indigo sketchbook. Mug on photo has 3 layers of the black on the inside, on top of a red bodied Amaco clay.

Very black. Very glossy very thick. Still would say it needs several coats for uniform coverage. Does not run

Fired great!! I used it for gingerbread man ornaments

deep, glossy black with only 3 coats...perfect result when fired to cone 5...very satisfied with this glaze...it is also very thick, so application is a breeze
