These pants aren't going to win any fashion awards, but I don't care because they do a good job of fending off mosquitoes. They have a drawstring waist and adjustable elastic around the ankles. They are quite baggy on me, but they really work! No mosquito bites!

Chiggers & Mosquitos are THE BANE OF MY EXISTENCE... 2 days ago (after suffering at least 10 bites on my arms & legs), I had enough!! did my research on ways to keep these odious pests off of me & came upon Coghlan’s whole outfit. Based on reviews, I was sold!This is my first review ever... was compelled to leave one after spending this afternoon in my garden (wearing these & the Coghlan’s shirt). I saw at least 3 mosquitos fly up to my face & then fly AWAY!!!!! (Didn’t see any bugs 2 days ago when I got eaten alive....)after I finished my garden work, I had to leave a review ASAP...Thank you Coghlan’s Bug Pants (& shirt) for giving me my sanity & tranquility back!!!No bites, easy outfit to take on/off, fabulous price, quick delivery (love Amazon...), I’m so happy that I ordered the whole outfit!!!Now I just need to find a similar thing for my dogs, who are very low to the ground & get eaten alive... fingers crossed, you guys also offer dog bug suits!!

Functionality:Fairly good. Hot to wear. Some mosquitoes still bite through it.

Didn’t get bug bites on my legs. I forgot they were even on and I looked very sexy. I was worried I would need a bigger size, but this is basically a one size fits all and the drawstring means a much larger person can still fit these.

The main two drawbacks are that 1: when you sit, they are in close contact with the knees, so mosquitoes get right through, and 2: you have to be extra careful in brush and going over obstacles like logs.The first problem is very easily remedied by pulling the fabric away from your legs when you sit. The second just requires a little more coordination. Hubby and I both got a pair for a 50-mile section of the Pacific Crest Trail in Oregon where the mossies are mean, hungry, and hardy to between about 40 and 85 degrees F. They can also fly in amazing winds!An advantage we hadn't considered was that they provided a small amount of protection from damp brush along the trail. It rained (yes, the Cascades in Oregon have rain. And snow, and sleet...) and these helped deflect a bit of that, too. We were quite surprised at how little dampness got through to our legs. We had on rain jackets and pack covers, but wore shorts, so were glad we had these! In the couple downpours, we got under cover, because we're crazy, not stupid!We did get a couple small holes in them that I was able to stitch up later, and we'll save them for another trip. We figured they would essentially be disposable, but held up better than expected.Would I buy them again? Yes, when our other ones give out and we plan another trip. Definitely worth the price, since mosquitoes seem to think we're delicious. If you're going to be in bug territory, these are wonderful!!

Well I bought these and wore them once, haha I felt like an idiot to be honest. They kept out some mosquitoes but I ended up tearing them walking through some brush. So they didn’t survive as long as I’d of liked and afterwards I just decided to wear lighter pants if it was too hot.Won’t buy again but I really liked the idea

The size says M but it fits up to 200 lbs. It is way big to cover any pants you might want to wear. Fits easily over shorts. I got the top earlier, so now I have a "bug suit" for walking in high mosquito season in Florida.Recommend highly.

A bit rough and scratchy, but they do the job...I didn't get any bug bites while wearing these.
