Easy install, works great and provides lots of light.

This was a pain to install, not completely the lamps fault. I was replacing and existing motion detector lamp and the ceter securing screw was a #10 instead of the #8 in the existing one. Getting the old bracket out through siding on a 12' ladder on a hill. Argh! It does not come with a rubber sealing ring. If everything inside is potted that's ok, but there is no way of knowing. If you are mounting on a vertical surface water will get in as well as insects. If I were them, I would throw in a 5 cent seal. Most motion lights have a red light to tell you it is sensing. This one does not. Plus it does not work in the test mode during the day. I really want to be testing in the dark, falling in ditches tripping over stuff. That's the bad.The good. It gives off more light than I expected. The motion detector is way better than the one it replaced. Once the thing is installed and set up it is awesome.

Overall these are pretty good for the price. Keep reading for my nitpicks.I got a pair of these to replace some old halogen floodlights for inside a large garage. Installation was OK, it would be nice if manufacturers would show a detailed photo of all sides of the product and what's in the box–I attached a photo of the back to this review. Also another way to earn a 5-star rating is if they would put little retainers on the screws so they wouldn't fall out while getting the bracket and light in position.The brightness is also just OK, good for my application where I just want to avoid tripping when there's no other lights on. I don't think they would be bright enough to make people's faces recognizable on a security camera.I'd like the ability to adjust the sensitivity, because the only adjustment is how long the light stays on after activation.In summary, a decent motion light, just wait for a lightning deal if you are fine with the minor criticisms above.

This product is perfect as a gate light. It is bright and easy to install. Will definitely buy again.

The light works on motion and is responsible priced. You can also get it, on at dusk and off at dawn!

Does what it says and I am pleased. Very bright.

The light works, some of the time. The motion sensor does NOT work as it should and has dead zones which happen to be anywhere around my door, unfortunately, considering I want it to come on when I open the door as there is no continuously on option. I would recommend a different light.
