Good game!
This game is really good! I'm a fan of cooperative games (not having to teach it to a new player, then beat them). I would suggest a couple "learn to play" videos. My one complaint is that the rule book doesn't really teach it that well. There's also a good faq on Board Game Geek. I got it on-sale for $16. For that price it was def worth it! 5 characters and 10 different "scenes" make it really re-playable. I bought it because my daughter's boyfriend loves Kratos and God of War. I wasn't famaliar with it but it looked good. Def worth having on the shelf 👍

Instructions too difficult to enjoy game
Very beautiful game. Vibrant colors and looks very aesthetically pleasing! However, instructions for the game were to difficult to make the game enjoyable

Enjoy your travel
This release/version is a wonderful and affordable introduction to the God of War universe. Honestly, I don’t play many exclusive or current generation video-games. I’ve known of GoW franchise for sometime but never had the time to purchase the PS4 console or the God of War PS4 edition that this boxed card game is based from.GoW card game is a intelligent co-op mosaic-deck builder. It is most likely the first game to branch into this style of play. The only game that is somewhat similar (minus the mosaic aspect) is Bloodborne the card game. GoW is not too overly complex but does provide enough intrigue to keep the content interesting as your team climbs the progression pyramid.Upon the event/mosaic for the current round, players will work together knocking out baddies and scoping the mosaic for clues for advancement via deck building. The game mechanics of GoW function upon vintage turn-based team battles where your team or group will hit/attack followed by the team/group presented upon the mosaic. Additional blocking cards keeps the vintage combat fresh and fits well with the overall theme of GoW the card game. During play, the mosaic shifts via card flips and adds a nice aesthetic feel of transition/advancement in game. For the price, this game provides plenty of content. I believe there are 8 different scenarios. I haven’t played through all of the content yet. Mainly I’ve played solo mode with the help of a friend that didn’t want to astray from the solo game-play option. There are plenty of things to do in this box-set. I would think with casual play, a group can play through the entire box roughly in 6 to 8 game sessions depending on branching options between act/scenario progression. The game is made with high quality components. I don’t recommend sleeving this game. The game cards are coated and have a sturdy feel. If you decide to sleeve, you may not be able to fit the game back into the box due to the very limited space provided.Overall, I think the game and artwork looks well . Player cards are simple and easy to read. The event mosaics are simply beautiful and might be actual screen shots of the actual PS4 game. The overall difficulty is medium-high: 3.5/5 on the difficulty scale. With proper team strategy, co-op card play, and mosaic player stance, most scenes won’t be impossible to complete. In conclusion, I do recommend this game to casual game groups that are looking for something new to explore. Plus, it’s a great way to get a taste of the GoW universe without spending hundreds of dollars on a PS4 gaming system and copy of the PS4 video game.

Yuck! Avoid this unfinished game.
This game isn't finished yet. Terrible rules, no difficulty settings, too easy, not enough strategy.
