Caterpillar mens Soft Shell Jacket (Regular and Big & Tall Sizes)

I have been wanting a softshell jacket for a while now and I am glad I found this on Amazon. I work for Caterpillar and get compliments on this jacket all of the time. I wasn't sure about which size to purchase, because normally I wear a XL. I am 6'1" and 215# and opted to go for the Large Tall to see how it fit and it was perfect. If you normally wear an XL, the Large Tall should fit fine. This jacket has plenty of pockets and has a zipper pocket right over your heart and is a great place to put your cell phone with ear buds (unless you have a huge phone, I have the iPhone 5S) also there are huge inside pockets which are great for taking candy into the movie theater ;-). It is a nice quality product and great logo placement.

Jacket looks good and fits good.

Quality is good on this jacket. I love the reflective piping and all the pockets. I love this jacket until I do any work, then I sweat in it because the fabric does not breathe. Actually I sweat in it if I am indoors for very long at all also doing nothing. I have replaced this jacket with a 400 weight polar fleece which oddly is warmer yet I sweat less in it when indoors or working. If you really need the reflective piping for safety and your just driving in the jacket it works well. If you need to do any work or if your stuck inside a warm building for long it does not breath enough. I have gotten sweat inside this jacket and the next day it is not dry. I really wish this jacket performed more like polar fleece but it really doesn't. It is a better wind breaker than fleece but they way I use it for work it is not ideal.

The inner fabrics get wet when I sweat. So not really breathable. Its really warm though. I wore this from last fall, and easily stood temperatures of 10 degrees Celsius down to -15 degrees Celsius. Zippers are tough and easy to locate, and pockets are spacious. Two zippers on each armpits are quite nice, as it gives some ventilation to the jacket.

Long sleeves!!!....finally! Not overly long on torso, would definitely buy again. I usually buy a 3XLT but the 2XLT fits great. Jacket is warm for those cold mornings. I'm 6'4" 330#...hope this helps.. oh yeah, my wife loved it because I usually buy clothes too big but this actually "fits" me according to her

Jacket is exactly as was expected. It's a nice Jacket for the money.

Great jacket ive bought 4-5 of them but zipper broke off most recent after very little use... wish I could get a replacement zipper for.an almost new jacket

Sleeves are a little on the long side but can be adjusted with velcro to be tighter at the wrist
