My seven year old loves this calendar. Our Elf on the Shelf brought it with her from the North Pole just in time for the first door to be opened on December 1st. My daughter likes it so much that she keeps it next to her bed and opens a door as soon as she awakes. The calendar has a nice balance of slime containers and add-ins. The only downside, in my daughter's opinion, is that over time the slime stiffens up a bit. It's still good to play with, though. I don't mind at all, since she still gets to enjoy it for a week or two, and I don't want it hanging around the house forever anyway.

We got this for our 13yr old daughter who LOVES slime! She was excited to see what kind of slime, charms, or glitter she would get every day. Unfortunately, some of the charms started falling out and she wasn't sure what day they belonged to. There were a few occasions when she would open a door and the piece was missing because it had migrated to another spot or fallen out. Overall she was really happy with the advent calendar though. It was a cute idea.

Great value. We had our Elf on the Shelf mail all three of our kids an advent calendar. I actually can’t stand slime, but I went with it to throw my daughter off of my trail. The slime has been quality (not wet and sticky) and doesn’t leave any residue on the table. The extra add ins (different glitters) were a fun touch. The only issue we had is two of the glitter bottles opened up in the package before it was time to open them. So the bottles were empty and glitter was in the package. But she didn’t seem to mind at all. Great value!

Slime is extremely sticky. You cant play with it at all without getting it stuck to your hands and fingers. My daughter who loves slime was sad that she could not enjoy her advant calendar like her siblings have theirs. So far we are on day 6 of it, if it gets any better I will update this review, but I have no hope for it. Not worth the money. I would not recommend this to anyone and I would not buy again. Very disappointing!Update: slime is still not better but their customer service is great, I would buy from the company again just not this product.

Every single slime in this advent calendar is unuseable. The slimes have all separated, leaving the bottom of the container pure liquid, with something that resembles slime floating on top, but it’s just like goop that sticks to everything. At first I tried to just mix the layers of the slime together, I tried to dry it out a little bit- there is nothing that can be done to make this turn into anything that can be used. Not sure if this whole package is old, or it was heated up or something. It almost seems like slime that has been melted and sat for years causing the layers to separate. Anyway- waste of money- I had to buy my daughter a different advent calendar.

We do an advent calendar for our daughter every year, as she is now a tween it It’s getting harder to find A Calendar that is inexpensive but contains items of interest, this fit the bill perfectly! Each morning she was excited about opening a new day on the calendar! It contains The same amount of slime and interesting ad in s as any other set and truly is a value for the price! If your child likes slime this is the early gift to get!

I get advent calendars for my kids each year and it is harder now that I have a 12 year old . She was never into the slime craze but still enjoyed it on occasion. I took a chance on this one and she has really enjoyed it (granted we are only on day 4, but it has been fun for her). The description says they are scented but we haven't noticed a scent. The mix ins are fun, and it has some fun colors. This is a fun option!
