I bought this as a birthday gift for my husband, and I cannot express the sheer amount of joy that it gave him. It looks great, and is well made. A bit thinner than standard license plates, but still sturdy. He had a cold the day it arrived, but it went on our car 2 days later when he went back to work, and we both smile every time we see it. Thank you for making this and making my Trekkie husband VERY happy.

Looks fantastic on the front of my SV. And the fact that it doesn't have any Star Trek insignias, it separates the Trekkies from the non Trekkies, making it a nice starter for conversation. But be assured the ones who know what it is, knows.

It looks better than in this photo that I took at night. I left the shrink-wrapped plastic on the plate, which is what is making it look awful around the bottom edges. It is NOT the plate deteriorating and it does not show except in flash photos. Once the plastic shrink wrap starts getting bad, I'll remove it. When I moved to Kentucky I found that this state does not require a front license plate like California does so I went on a hunt for a good looking Klingon license plate. None were any good at ALL, so I decided to nab this one. It looks better than the bare plate holder and tells the world I'm a Star Trek fan! This plate is better made than official Kentucky license plates. It's heavier duty metal and the letters are pressed like California license plates are. Kentucky plates are flat with just print! If you are a Star Trek fan and live in a state that doesn't require a front plate, this is for you!
