Chicken Base, Stock and Bouillon, Gluten Free, No MSG, Bulk 1 lb Tub (Pack of 6)

Flavorful. Shelf stable. Once opened, store in fridge. Lasts a very long time. I keep a lot of bases, bouillon, and broths on hand. Works for so many applications that it is a must have for working pantry, and long term storage pantry needs. Sometimes the bases are hard to find in store, so I order online. Little more pricey per container than I am used to, but when availability is low I had to get what I could. This is good, and I would buy again.

I used to use the maggi tablets but due to MSG discontinued. Then I found out about this option. It is very different than the tablets. I knew how many to crumble in my meals. This version is SO salty but still has the flavor I want. So it can be hard to balance how much to use to get the buillion flavor but not all the saltiness. It's been a few months so i have kind of mastered my amounts. This is why we must keep tasting our food as we are cooking.

I really, really like this bouillon. It has fantastic flavor and doesn't bother my MSG issue. Last time I ordered I had two containers opened and this time two lids were missing. It's a lot of money to have issues like this. Sure tastes good, I hope I don't have to quit buying.

Good stuff, I got his yesterday. Tastes very good. I wanted a hot beverage that was not coffee or tea, so made a cup of this broth and it was very satisfying. My only complaint is that I received this on 4/17/21 and the expiration date is August/2021, that gives me about 4 months to use this, which I doubt I can use it. Is there some way to prolong this soup base, maybe freezing...

I make a lot of soup and this is so much better than dry, mostly salt boullion. The first ingredient on the label is actually from a real chicken! Worth the money and the other 6 jars you have to buy keep for over 6 months in a very cold freezer. Use it in veggies too.

I love this stuff, but why is it always about to expire? This is less than 2 months away.

The flavor itself is awesome. My favorite ever, and I'm a soup maker. I read both good and bad reviews, including that some were close to the due date, but I took a chance. Bad call. They expired a month after I got them. It is hard to find in the store now, so I tried here. I had to order a big box, but then I gave almost all of it to the food pantry due to it expiring so soon. There was no way I'd use it all by then.
