Works but it's expensive attachment point.keeps failing at the same
This is the 3rd one I have owned. Only had last one a year, bought 9/7/21 and it keeps breaking at exactly the same point rear left seat attachment. I use two gorilla cages which keep my bottles from ejecting perfectly on rough chip seal roads. However the metal keeps breaking right at the bolts where it attaches to the seat rail on the left side. My right side is my dominate side and so I would think it would weaken there first if anywhere. This is too expensive to have to replace every year so I may have to find another solution. It really is too bad as I do like the xlab products and normally they hold up very well!!!!

So rad it hurts...
I have had this on my bike for a while now. I bought a used tri-specific bike, and the guy had the carbon fiber wing on it. The carbon version is a little lighter, but the super wing has more options for mounting water bottles. Kind of nice to flip the bottle back for shorter races when a flying dismount might make all the difference, or to have them straight up on a longer race when the aero advantage outweighs the dismount time. It is light, sturdy, and awesome. Get your stuff off your frame and behind your a$$. You are already doing the work, have your stuff in a spot that doesn't make it even harder.

I should have started with this
I didn't want to spend this much money so I went with the two lower models (the Mini-Wing and the Turbo Wing). I use the extra bottles for my long (100+ mile) rides, so my situation requires that I can also carry additional gear (tubes, CO2, nutrition, etc.). I tried to get the other two to do the job, and the Turbo Wing did it better but, in the end, this Super Wing did the trick exceptionally well. It's built as a solid piece with a real, formed, middle, to hold an extra bag inside (mini-bag). And the Mezzo bag fits well on the underside, for long rides, or I can tuck the straps in the middle, for a clean look on shorter rides without the bottom bag. The third try was it, and I should have saved myself the time and just spent the extra money the first time.

I wish I knew what the tradeoff between aero and weight is
I feel silly saying "but it weighs like 80g" -- but without adding the carbon bottle cages, it's already ten times heavier than *two* titanium bottle cages. I got this primarily to have a place to stash CO2 and spare tubes, but I'm very much wondering if I'll even use this if I'm choosing between a storage bottle that fits inside the frame with a single bottle or adding the xlab wing, bottle cages, CO2 etc. Why would I spend so much money making my bike lighter only to put this part on it that essentially negates the work I did everywhere else?It seems well made, but why is it not carbon or titanium? What is the use case here? I'm not sure I've ever needed four bottles on a ride, and if I only need two it seems like the smarter choice is lighter, larger (1L seems to be lower drag than 750ml) bottles in the frame.

Really handy
So far I am really liking this. I installed this to replace the standard bike bag and to move my water bottle cage from the tube. Now I have two cages sitting behind me so I'll never run out of water. The XLAB mini bag holds my repair kit and fits perfectly inside of the wing. There is also room for a spare tube which I velcroed in the horizontal portion. Overall the wing is really versatile and I'm happy I made the transition. It also makes me look like an actual triathlete, so that never hurts. One note: I had a really hard time installing the cross bar in the wing. Turns out I was doing it wrong, I think it is supposed to go across the top portion not the bottom. But by putting it in the bottom (even though it took some effort) it provides the perfect brace for the Mini Bag to sit on so I can keep everything secure.

Nice looking, holds lots of stuff.
I used to have the profile design 2 bottle behind the seat holder. I got a new bicycle with a aerodynamic seat post. So I needed a watter bottle cage that would clip to the seat rails. This works great for that. I looks very nice and has many adjustments for the water bottle positions. The first cages I used didn't hold the water bottles well and they would pop out. I added the Xlab Gorilla Cages and I've never had one pop out since.

One Star
Even though I ordered white and all my shipping paperwork said white I reviewed it in black.
