No microplastics
very nice dish washing pads, much better than the micro plastic leaving old pads I was using.

a more hygienic dishwashing experience
small thin sponge waiting to be re-hydrated to expands into an almost full size kitchen sponge. Scrubber side is useful, this sponge lasts a long time, and it is great that it is biodegradable. I appreciate changing to a new clean sponge more often in my kitchen without guilt, for a more hygienic dish washing experience. I cut it in half to make a small sponge to use on my pet's dished to avoid commingling germs. Well priced and easy to store 10 if them in no space at all under the sink.

New version is terrible
I’ve used these for several years. The older version was great: a nice, thick long lasting kitchen sponge. The new version is much thinner, smaller, and significantly smaller than a normal sponge. Plus, the new ones are vacuum packed in two layers of plastic— and many of us buy these specifically to AVOID plastic. They took a good product and ruined it.

Great product! Hoping it’s ACTUALLY all natural and biodegradable as advertised.
These sponges are GREAT! They come in a paper bag and are not individually wrapped, so no extra plastic! (Amazon, of course still shipped them in plastic. 🙄). These sponges are durable, absorbent, and great for scrubbing. They don’t smell strange, except for the usual refresh needed in the dishwasher every-so-often, which does not damage them. I love NOT not washing tiny green micro-plastics down the drain every time I wring out my sponge! As far as practicality, I highly recommend these! This bulk package of sponges should last a really long time too! 😊My ONLY CONCERN is that the packaging (on which “packaging” is misspelled! 😆), says that the scrubbing material is “50% plant material”, and not what the other 50% is. 🤔 That is not what the description on the Amazon selling page said, and that is why only 4 stars. I was lead to believe on the selling page that is ALL biodegradable plant material. (Although, I suppose they have to fuse the scrubber to the sponge with SOMETHING…🤔) HOPING THE COMPANY CAN CLARIFY.I still feel better about baby steps towards FEWER plastics in our landfills from the packaging, and fewer in the water from alternative, plant based scrubbers. If a better biodegradable solution is to buy the all-natural sponge and scrubbers separately, from this company NOT glued together, (assuming the scrubber part contains zero plastic), then I could try THAT after I use these up.

Does a great job and looks good to boot
I've bought these sponges several times for both home and work. The scrubbing side works very well. The sponge stays in good shape for a long time - I put them into the dishwasher after a bit to get them clean. I'll continue to buy.

Suddenly these sponges are much smaller
I've been using these sponges for years and the last package I got the sponges are way smaller and the package is wrapped in plastic and the sponges are wrapped in plastic too. I appreciate that the package takes up less space with compressed sponges, but why are they so small and why so much plastic?

Finding to be true to the description after two weeks.
Seems to repel water which is key to minimizing bacteria. I don't have to way to test bacteria levels, but the sponge is not becoming slippery like traditional ones. The scrub side is working well. We also tried a synthetic sponge, but it only lasted about one week before it began to fall apart. The packaging isn't a major issue for me, since the move to these sponges is a better option for my families health than traditional sponges. Life is about steps forward not arriving magically on a unicorn to perfection. Maybe they will find a better packaging option in the future, but I'm guessing as a startup funding is tight. Competition and increased sales should give them more opportunities. I would say support them, so they can fine tune the product and explore better packaging options.
