Replaced the old Jacuzzi value which Jacuzzi do not sell anymore.It worked great! No more leaks.

This functions fine if you need or want a height adjustable flush valve. My have 2 complaints about this kit and the first is that rather than including a shank washer for the valve to tank seal, they include a round seal. This seal works fine but requires that the flush valve be as near perfectly centered in the hole as possible. That's not so simple seeing that the hole is oversized ... which is why the wedge style shank washer has been the standard way in which the valve to tank seal is accomplished. I did end up using the included seal. I used a piece of small tubing around the threaded section that feeds through the tank. It allowed me to perfectly center the flush valve in the hole. That said, I would recommend purchasing a shank washer separately to use with this valve in the event that you decide that you don't want to fuss with trying to make sure the valve is centered. My second gripe with this valve is that you cannot use a lower profile tank to bowl gasket because of the style of nut included to secure the valve to the tank. The gasket that is included seals fine but does not allow me to tighten the tank closer to the bowl with my particular toilet. I basically had to shim between the tank and bowl alleviate the excessive tank "wobble" as the tank really sits up too high. Aesthetically, it's kind of silly looking. But it's a toilet so I supposed that really doesn't matter. This will not be an issue in some installations and will be an issue in others. It will all depend on the toilet that this is being installed on. In my case, I need a lower profile tank to bowl seal. I did try the plastic nut from an old valve, but the threads were not compatible. The style of nut is the only thing that prevents me from using a low profile seal.What it basically comes down to is that this valve kit is not completely universal. A couple different parts choices by the manufacturer would have made this more universal and easier to install as well. I was a little generous in only docking Korky 1 star. I'd probably knock of 1 1/2 stars if it were an option.

I replaced a flush valve that had a fixed height overflow tube that I felt was too short and limited my flush volume. I know, I know ....... toilet manufacturers have specific flush volumes built-in to meet local requirements but I just wanted more gusto in my flushes to insure effective waste movement. Because of the rather short height of my overflow tube my toilet tank could only be filled so far. I looked into "overflow tube height extenders" thinking Amazon would have some inexpensive thing but the ones I found were stupid expensive. So, for less money I found this Korky flush valve with an adjustable height overflow tube. Worked perfectly and I could dial in my perfect water depth in the tank in concert with an adjustment to my fill valve water level setting. I didn't add much, just about 3/4" more depth and I made sure it was still at least 1 1/2" below the flush handle. Recommended.

AMAZON!!! ***TAKE NOTE*** AMAZON, next time please place item in box or bag. The item was shipped in it's light cardboard display box. The box was in poor shape and parts were falling out upon delivery. This was not the driver's fault, it was the warehouse!Now, about the product. We were having issues with our champion 4 toilets leaking. For some reason the Champion flapper is a multi-piece, multi-sealing surface unit and it's very prone to leaks. This Korky kit was designed to address the issues listed above. The directions were very intuitive and easy to follow and all of the hardware was included. I do recommend the following: Korky, please add another larger o-ring for centering the flapper valve, there was still a large amount of slopp to try and center the valve. For the installer, you may want to trace around the old valve (bottom of tank) with a pencil for reference when installing the new smaller valve. Also the directions state to tighten the large valve nut hand tight and then another ¼ turn. The nut is rather large, however a channel lock style oil filter wrench worked perfectly, I'm sure there are other ways as well. After installation was complete, everything worked perfectly and no major adjustments were needed. The flapper had some air ports that are adjustable for timing the flush. With all the ports closed the flapper worked fine. Now that this unit is in and working well, it's time to order more and address some future issues.

This kit works. I bought a house with a 3" opening Mansfield toilet. It had a slow leak which made the toilet refill a little at random. For conservation and my sanity I had to do a total replacement. The seating for the old flapper valve had too much buildup to be worth rescuing.The Korky kit has great instructions with lots of callouts for different brands. I had to guess a little bit with the adjustable flush but my first try (3/10) was correct.Before: Toilet leaks slowly, refilling randomly. Weak flush. Even with adjustments to the chain the flusj doesn't get much better.After: Like new! Strong flush, quieter refill, no leak.Absolutely recommended.

Very pleased with this as a replacement part to the stock American standard cheapo version.The adjustable height, when used with an adjustable height fill valve, let’s the tank full more water and gives a much stronger flush.Rubber gaskets and hardware are good quality.

My old toilet flapper has warped, and it's been serving me for almost 15 years, so I decided to replace both the flush valve and the fill valve. I'm using this with the Korky 528MP MaxPerformance Fill Valve.The Korky tutorial videos make it look easy, and it wasn't too difficult, but there're two things you need to look out for:1. A big wrench is needed to remove the old mounting nut from the old flush valve. On mine the nut has a 3-inch diameter. Installation instructions say to hand tighten the new nut, so I didn't expect the old nut to be so tough to remove. I had to buy a new wrench locally in order to finish the installation.2. The adjustable tube leaks unless it's really tightened up. Judging from the plastic tube construction I didn't think it needed or could be tightened this much but it does. I had to take the toilet tank apart completely and reinstalled everything to figure out that leak.But with the leak fixed it is working fine!

The sponge gasket that came with the Korky flush valve assembly is 3 times as thick as any other vendor's sponge gasket. I installed it, and now the tank doesn't sit properly on the bowl. It wobbles. I'll have replace the flush assembly with a Fluidmaster assembly.

La chasse d'origine n'était pas assez efficace et demandais souvent une seconde activation. Merci Mr Korky.
