Helps layout the format for writing a dissertation

My book arrived sooner than expected. It is in excellent condition. There is no writing that I can see. The spine, covet, and pages were in excellent condition. Very pleased.

All I can say is I need all the help I can get. This definitely has some great sections on topics that I needed some guidance.

This book is a Great help and Others should buy it

I didn't inform me of too much that I didn't already know. I was looking for a suggested template for an outline. However, I have always been pleased with all of these series over the years of studying many subjects.

Excellent book that takes you through each step of writing a dissertation in such a simple to understand way. It begins by helping you choose the right topic for ‘you’ and then guides you through each section, providing useful tips along the way.

This proved to be most helpful in setting up the order for the pages of the dissertation and in putting together the project to make it acceptable for the examiners.

Das Buch vermittelt in einer inspirierenden Weise die Grundlagen für das Schreiben eines wissenschaftlichen Textes. Allerdings ist es nur bedingt eine Schritt für Schritt Anleitung und natürlich orientiert an den Standards im englischsprachigen Raum. Aus eben diesem Grund besonders geeignet für alle, die sich an diese etwas anderen Standards erst herantasten müssen. Die Autorin hilft mit Fragestellungen und leitet an, selbst Fragen zu entwickeln und eine klare Argumentationslinie aufzubauen. Und wichtig: die Rohfassung eines Textes ist nicht seine Endfassung, liebe Studierende!

Das Buch bietet kleinere Gedankenanstöße zum Schreiben einer Doktorarbeit, für eine Doktorarbeit in der Biologie eher nicht so viel dabei. Trotzdem voll und ganz zufrieden.

Gotta say I couldn't have done my dissertation without this book! It was brilliant and guides you through each section step by step with checklists so you know you have everything covered. If I hadn't had this book I definitely would have panicked a lot more and not got as good a grade for my dissertation! The only thing I can think of that I needed a bit more guidance on was statistical analysis and qualitative data analysis, but that is because it was specific to my course and dissertation and a general book like this would never be able to cover everything for every dissertation. Still, it was worth every penny and is a fantastic resource to base your dissertation structure on.
