 I got the other popup tent on Amazon here, and I found this one worked pretty much the same (only cheaper) EXCEPT for one thing: I would not recommend folding this one down super small, like you can with the other one. Mainly because you can't tell where the join is in the poles (see video).If you have a BIG duffel bag or if you're car camping, you can fit this, but if you're thinking of taking this backpacking, it's going to be too big.Hope this helps!

Delivery was delayed, but not a big deal I rather have this to save me from the insects when I have to go for training then to not have it at all! Really excited to sleep inside it has a lot of space to put my things. Trying to fold it back is a little difficult and frustrating but it’s understandable since the bars have to be folded the correct way to make it smaller for packaging. Really like how small it actually folds to so it won’t take a lot of space will be attaching pictures soon.

I bought this for a Girl Scout camping trip after an absolutely miserable, bug filled experience camping in the girl scout platform tents. My daughter was miserable and never wanted to go camping there again. (I don't blame her because myself and the other moms were just as miserable!!!) I bought this cot tent for her and then a larger, 1-2 person pop up tent for myself.This cot tent was absolutely perfect for the girl scout cots. It does overhang a bit in the length, but I used that to our advantage and tucked each end under the head and foot rails to help keep it in place. We put it on top of the mattress because at the last trip, all the mattresses had spider egg sacs on them. It worked great. She even kept her bag in it while sleeping, she slept comfortably, and she left her bag inside it all day to keep bugs out of her things. She is 11 years old. She will never GS camp again without it! She even brought it to a winter platform tent camping trip.I am buying another one for myself because while my 1-2 person tent is great, it doesn't fit on the cots and I have to use an air mattress on the floor with it. I will still be bringing it and an air mattress with for trips, just in case, or so we can store the mom's bags in it to keep them spider and critter free!The only thing my daughter and I wish this cot tent had is a privacy cover of some sort.It is pretty tall, check the measurements, so I don't know yet if it would fit in a girl scout bunk BUT it is obviously flexible so I think it could potentially work just fine. In other words, when we GS cabin bunk camp, I'll be MAKING IT work! My daughter likes how tall it is because she even changes her clothes in it.

This is exactly what I wanted to keep ALL critters out. (Not just flying ones!) Most mosquito nets are open on the bottom, which allows other insects like scorpions, spiders, roaches, etc...to crawl in from the bottom. The places I travel to tend to be quite rugged and full of little critters, even in the hotels and hostels. I have a sleeping bag that I usually bring that has a bug net sewn over the face, and that keeps things out, but it is way too hot for most of the year, and it's suffocating because the net lays down on your face (which doesn't help with mosquitoes anyways since it touches your skin and they can bite right through that)This is great because it's a tiny pop up that you can either lay on top of your sleeping bag in or inside your bag if it's colder, and still be protected fully either way. This also is great to put on a bed or cot if you're traveling to areas that have lots of indoor bugs like bed bugs or roaches. The only thing it's missing is solid flaps that you can put down for privacy in a hostel, and then it would be absolutely perfect!The only bad thing as the other commenter stated is that it is a bit bigger when it folds up than I expected. It doesn't fit fully into my biggest suitcase, so I'm going to have to be creative when flying with it and will probably just check it by itself in a 55 gallon trash bag. It does have backpack straps to help carry it, which is nice and convenient once you get to the place you're going. It's very very lightweight too.

What’s not to like?!?! It unfolds and is instantly setup. Takes mere seconds to fold and return to pouch. Easily fits a sleeping pad, wide mummy sleeping bag, some personal items and a 6’1”, 195 lbs male with size 15 feet. It is also light weight, water proof (albeit with netting above to see the night or daytime sky, so rain will enter if additional coverage isn’t added), and the zipper is strong and easy to open from inside or out.Love this item and will not hesitate to recommend to others and purchase additional ones if needed in the future. Dimples Excel = YES!

It seems like a nice, convenient tent - I would say only for use in Summer or hot temperature climes. The size though is not made for adults in my opinion. More suited for children. If you are over 5 feet tall or big otherwise, I would look for a bigger or different tent.

This pop-up tent is so much fun! It comes in a great carrying case and opens in a mere second. Once inside, there is enough room for one adult to lay or a few children to play.The screen is super strong; my kitten was jumping on and playing with the tent for hours and didn't tear a thing. The front 'door' rolls up and attaches to clips until you are ready to zip in for the night.What a great tent for fun or function and excellent customer service when I had a question as well.
