Great for teaching the fundamentals to kids
We have kids from 5 to 12, and all of them like playing with these magnets. This kit has enough of a variety of magnets and associated equipment that you can do a lot of experiments, most of which just seem like playing to the kids. They really like the levitating dowel and suspending the magnets above one another.

Low quality magnets. They do work but leave a lot to be desired. If not for the "cute factor" I would have rated this lower.

It was alot smaller than I thought and the directions are in another language. Other than that my kid loves it and it was pretty cool playing with it.

Not quite what I expected
The box was very small and difficult for my students to put the pieces back. Low quality and I bought three and they were not all the same. Some were missing things.
