The last TV soundbar you'll need
Orbitsound is making a splash in the audio market with this all-around fantastic soundbar. The M12 is sleek, compact and easy to set up. I connected it to my television and stereo system in just a few minutes. But its real strength lies in the sound - it easily competes with stereos in its price range and even slightly above.PRO:- Comes with multiple inputs so it is super versatile. Aux, Optical, Bluetooth and Stereo inputs.- Great sound. The Orbitsound isn't going to replace a high end system, but it is a superb mid-range option. The subwoofer, which is wireless, adds some serious depth to the sound, giving that movie-theater rumble that I love when watching movies. The little bar has 9 speakers which does a great job of mimicking surround sound without having to have speakers all over the room. I don't know how they do it, but it truly sounds like you've got some much bigger speakers coming out of that little box.- Easy to set up, took minutes and I was off and running.CON:- Bluetooth is a little spotty, both for the subwoofer and when I connect my phone. Both tend to go in and out if they get too far away from the main unit.- Remote control must be precisely aimed. I installed this above my television on the wall and it will often miss the signal if I am aiming from below the unit.- Lack of audio separation. If you have songs that separate the guitar into one side from time to time, it is hard to hear that definition in this soundbar. It's a small complaint.I would definitely recommend this as a TV soundbar and even as a speaker system for music. It has a great sound, easily one of the better speaker systems I have listened to. It packs a punch at the low end but still provides crisp highs and all in a package that can sit on a shelf.

Good sounding – versatile system!
The Orbitsound M12 Soundbar is a light-weight, sleek, yet basic looking sound system that provides versatility without the wires. The system has built in Bluetooth which will allow it to connect to your phone, tablet, some computers, etc. Additionally, the system also has your old school but still relevant 3.5mm audio jack and auxiliary inputs. You can easily switch between each of these modes using the top of the sound bar or the remote. Speaking of the remote, it’s quite basic. Nothing fancy. Can increase/decrease volume, treble, bass, mute it, and shuffle through songs. It took me less than 10 minutes from opening the box to connecting it to my phone as well as through the AUX IN. The sound is fantastic. Being up front, I’m not an audiophile but the system has a fantastic mid-range regardless of volume levels. The high range leaves some to be desired at higher volumes as vocals seem to be less clear and a little distorted. The sub-woofer is great - I don’t think it can hold up against a 7.1 system but it is definitely comparable to a 5.1. Lastly, as probably with all devices, the sound quality is much better through AUX IN vs. Bluetooth but of course the convenience of Bluetooth is one of the great reasons to purchase this. All in all, the Orbit M12 is a great mid-range costing soundbar and subwoofer. If you’re an audiophile looking for a top end system, continue looking. However, if you’re looking for a good sounding, convenient system that allows both AUX IN and Bluetooth – look no further.

fantastic sound, though I wish the Bluetooth range were as good as the speaker range
These speakers have fantastic sound--my upstairs is about 2,500 square feet, and when the speakers are positioned in a central room you can hear lyrics clearly throughout. It's perfect for setting the mood for a house party or similar... and closing a door or two will block the sound out, so it's not obnoxious. Setup is super easy--takes maybe 2 minutes (or 5 if you include removing the packaging), and you'll need 2 outlets. Bluetooth pairing is easy as expected, and it also has "optical" and the traditional "auxiliary" options for connecting it as well. And did I mention that the sound is great? <3My only (mild) complaint is that the Bluetooth range isn't the best. If I keep my iPod in my pocket and wander into the next room, the sounds starts to skip. It's not a dealbreaker and Bluetooth range usually isn't super far anyway; it would just be nice to be able to adjust the songs from wherever I'm listening, rather than having to leave the device in the room with the speakers (and wander in there if I ever want to change the sound). But that's not a showstopper, and the sound is so great I'm giving this 5 stars anyway. Finally, this doesn't affect my review at all, but I have to give a shout-out to Orbitsound for great packaging. It's easy to open, protects the equipment just right, and has a very high-end feel to it... giving it that "extra special" touch if you happen to be giving a gift to someone picky, or just wanting to feel extra spoiled yourself :)

awesome, room-filling sound!
This product is so much better than relying on your tv's speakers - which are probably very small. This is kind of like a super soundbar - there are six forward-facing speakers, one on each end as well facing the sides and a sub-woofer. There is a wireless connection between the bar and the sub-woofer, which does need to be plugged into AC power. We have a LG Smart TV but i was unable to get it to connect wirelessly to the bar, but the optical (Toslink) worked just fine, but i was not able to get any of the special sound features of the LG to work. One other thing that might not be obvious -- you have to use the remote or the controls on the soundbar to control the volume.Once you get it all connected, you will probably be impressed by the sound -- it is the best sound I have heard from a TV without a surround-sound system and without any sort of distortion or hum. Oh, and that remote must be made of metal - it is very heavy and solid-feeling.one last thing about the packaging - the box it came in was about 30 pounds and pretty big - there were also many layers -- 1) the Amazon box, 2) the manufacturer's shipping box 3) the manufacturer's display box 4) each item was in it's own box inside the display box!

Sound Investment
Excellent sound quality from compact understated equipment. Setup was a 'piece-of-cake'. This equipment has transformed my television viewing and, strangely, I have reduced the overall volume as the speech is so much clearer than from the TV speakers. Highly recommended

We have a 'snug' lounge but the sound is perfect, not too overpowering
We have a 'snug' lounge but the sound is perfect, not too overpowering, however, the settings are very manageable enabling you to get the sound balanced perfectly for your room size.
