Overall good value
When washing the paint does start to come off slightly. I now have 4 spots you can see the material it's made with.I do hand wash and on its own ....thinking I could be smart and make it last with reading previous review responses but it still comes off .Real shame because for the price you pay it shouldn't do this and this is the only flaw otherwise it would be 5 stars. Keeps the coffee heated for longer than a glass type, doesn't crack like them either. No spill and you can get 2 large mugs of coffee from it.

Not for me
Quick to receive and was so excited but sadly this is not for me. I found that the lid did not make a good enough seal compared to other products I have used, I didn't like the feel of the handle and was worried about the metallic taste so sadly returned. Great customer service. Felt heavy and sturdy however. These are very personal views - others clearly love it.

Best cafetiere I have owned!
No glass! Honestly would never get another brand of cafetière after using this one, after smashing a few of our past ones I was looking for something sturdier and this definitely fits that! Strong and easy to clean, when I first used it the filter scraped against the inside walls but after a few uses this seems to have stopped and I have absolutely no complaints.

Exactly what I was looking for
So I am four days into using the Gator and I am very pleased with it. It’s exactly what I wanted and it’s keeping my coffee perfectly warm at breakfast. It’s quite heavy but I don’t mind that and I guess it was expected with this style.The paint really pops and I just hope that it keeps and doesn’t flake with time.

Pretty practical cafeteria.
Love this handy well made double layered cafeteria.It keeps you a couple more cups of coffee so much warmer than the thin glass ones.Hard wearing and easy to clean.

Distinctive and robust
Delighted with my choice of cafetiere. As soon as I got it out of the box, I knew I had a quality product in my hands. it is stylish, well-engineered and I expect I will get many years of good service from it. I particularly like how easy it is to pour accurately without spilling - the spout is perfectly designed. The walls are thick keeping the coffee hot for longer, and the coffee tastes great too!
