its ok but a huge reason for 1 star...
so this is by far the cheapest 4 bike hitch attachment you can buy.. the fact that it came with the tension bar as well was the absolutely clincher for me, since i have women and kids bikes to transport..The item wasn't all that easy to assemble.. i mean it was.. but the directions were just like.. no.. smh.. and mine were printed sooo lightly too that the poorly written directions were even harder to read.. I don't think it will fit four bikes but thats to be seen.. The thing is ridiculously wobbly without the additionally piece. I also don't know why they want you to screw it in to your hitch, i just used my lockable holder, it was fine..The real reason for the 1 star is what a lot of other reviewers stated.. The straps.. WTF is up with those straps? not only are they nearly impossible to get on, they're way too short to fit around my frame and even if they would fit there is no way i can snap and unclasp them to get the bikes on and off.. its waaaaaaaaaay too hard.. so i had to order additional bike rack straps.. i shouldnt have to buy ANYthing to make a new product functional. .thats why the one star.. If you buy it.. and i almost suggest against it, but with the price, even buying the additional straps made it cheaper than its competitors, buy something else to use in place of the provided straps.. they destroyed my hands!!! Know that ahead of time because i now have to wait for the additional straps before i can use this rack.. booAs a bonus, this held a women's beach cruiser just fine without the tension bar - a huge plus if you're trying to transport womens bikes...

No Frill SMALL Bike Rack in Like New Warehouse Deal condition!
Another win, but this one MAY BE a keeper*.TL:DR - small bike rack for 4 bikes. No Frill design. OK sturdy, and not too heavy. Wouldn't buy if it were over $40. Came with 1 bonus adapter for hanging bike. This rack is small. I put it next to SportRack Ridge 4 and it's about 5 inches shorter (so it's even smaller than Tow Tuff or MaxxHaul which were just a tad larger than SportRack). Design wise, this one was even more no frill - it didn't even have a sticker (warning label with bike brand). Just 3 "smaller" pieces of black color square shape metal tube: stinger, rack stand (2 pieces - but why? It's as if manufacturing realized that 1 piece was just too short, so it added an extension piece). On top the bike rack (fork style).Rack wasn't heavy like TT, MH or SR. For 2" receiver only. Security hitch pin (false sense one, because it's a threaded pin, so if thief has a ratchet...)Got it for less than $35 in WD-LN, but wouldn't have bought it (or it would be returned) if it were more expensive. A MH or TT on sale for $45-50 would have been a much better deal, especially when I got the SR for only $41. I would be keeping this as a spare in case something's broken with the SR...Last 2 things: straps were a bit "not as easy" as SR (I've done this many times before so it's actually not too diffcult for me to put the straps on). They were on the short side too but should fit my bikes. Instructions were printed...words were okay, but diagrams...so difficult to read!*Package came missing 1 bolt for attaching stand to the stinger, so asking manufacturer to send me a replacement bolt, instead of going to local hardware store and line up for 30 minutes just to buy 1 bolt...Amazon sells it in a box of 5, but all out of stock! If I can't get that bolt one way or the other, it needs to be returned, sadly.

WELL worth the money!
Simple to put together, it may have taken a total of 5 minutes. However as it sits, the straps to hold your bike secure aren't long enough to fit my frame (Cannondale FSi1). On the flip side, that frame IS on the fat side. Also as another user described, the straps are nearly impossible to put on and off. I thought they may have been exaggerating.... Nope lol, they're a PITA..... I modified the straps length to fit my bike until my aftermarket straps arrive.... All in all.... For the price you absolutely can't go wrong, it is an awesome setup.... You can't build one this cheap!Highly recommended, however for the fat framed MTB riders out there some longer straps would be great!

Hard to use!
This was very hard to assemble and use. The directions were lacking to say the least. The straps that hold the bike on are too hard to get over the tab. My wife could not do it. I even had a hard time. I tried to use vaseline to grease the plastic. This only helped a little. If you have hands that can perform a death grip on thin rubber pull straps, get this product. Otherwise, spend the extra $10-20 for a different one. Also, I did not like that you had to use a bolt to attach the hitch instead of a true locking pin for a trailer hitch.

It's okay. Buy this one
This item looks great. But isnt. Make sure you carry bungie's with you and straps as the straps that come with it dont fit. They offer larger ones on request. They didnt work either. It also does t fit tight into your hitch. Wobbles around when driving w/o the bikes on it. Other than that. Its okay.

Horrible straps
It is nearly impossible to get the straps on and off when loading and unloading the bike. We have had to use tools and a lot of force. The straps really make everything else moot because it’s hard to use. I know some have said in other reviews that you can order replacement straps but why should you have to.

Nice!
Great bike rack but not for 4 bikes. Overall great price and does the job.

Best bang for the buck.
I've had several of these hitch racks over the years. This is the best one so far. Cheaper than all the rest and it comes with a stabilizer bar for bikes with odd top tubes.
