No. it softens it so it can be buffed off.

It just says Aloe Vera but what are the other ingredients please?

Ingredients as follows: Aqua, petrolatum, cetearyl alchohol, parrafinum liquidum, sodium lauryl sulfate, phenoxyethanol, aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice. These all taken from the label on the pot. I hope this helps!

Can it be used as face moisturiser

I used it as a night cream for my face as I have developed very sensitive skin at the age of 47. I can't use anything with a scent added as it just irritates my skin. I use Cetaphil daily defence moisturiser with SPF 50 in the day as that is for very sensitive skin. Hope this helps.

Not good for the reason I bought it.Initially I got this because of an allergic reaction to something else, which brought my face out in a big rash of dermatitis. The fact that the aloe vera smell in this is from actual aloe vera and not fake perfume was reassuring because AV is generally great at soothing.This aqueous cream burned the skin around and under my eyes, however. So I can't use it for this. Having said that, it may make a decent enough daily body lotion for post-showers, so I'll repurpose it for that and just get a tub of Epaderm or something for my face.
