Love this compost caddy 🥰 its rich polished copper colour compliments my kitchen perfectly. The compost caddy cost a little bit more than I normally pay but this is a quality product a nice weight without being too heavy no seams for crumbs of food to get stuck in so you don't need to buy extra caddy liners, so it'll pay for its self in no time with the bonus of less plastic too (win win 😁👍)It a nice large size (20cm x 18cm full depth) with added filters to stop smells drifting in your kitchen. The lid lifts off effortlessly no sticking or suction, the filters you manipulate into place nothing to remove, unscrew or pull apart (seems fairly easy to me). Comes with two filters already in place and a further 3 sets of 2 filters for replacement purposes ( replaceable every 3/4 months or as needed ) so the free filters should last me at least a year 😊.Would definitely recommend this lovely copper compost caddy well done to the Wife and husband on such a well made product that's going to grace my kitchen for long time to come and the super fast postage Amazon 😁👍

It is bonny, so much more pleasant to look at than the wee brown Council bin.It is easy to clean, well made, & in a warm week which had curry making (from scratch) it has been odourless. I’m delighted with it.It is a useful size & the little green bags will fit.

Excellent product, made of durable materials, looks nice, and fits just the right amount of food scraps that a family would produce in a few days, encouraging you to take out the compost regularly enough that it never really smells. 10/10

I have only just bought this and it’s really nice, good size and does the job, it has a made small difference to he amount of fruit flies I get in my kitchen but I am fast coming to the conclusion that I may have to just empty it everyday which is a pain and is wasteful because I use bags.. not sure about the filters.. we shall see..I bought white one which lovely now but it has already started to chip in places so I am not convinced that over time it will remain white I imagine the coating will start to come off because it gets used everyday, in hindsight I probably should have gone for the stainless steel, so if you are precious about it look banged up in a year I would stick to one that doesn’t have a coating.Overall I really like it and it looks great in my kitchen, I bought it because it claims to stop the flies, this is not true but it does reduce them, so I am keeping it but I know that in a year it won’t look so lovely which is a shame..Enjoy

Only had a week and so far no problems to report. Well made and looks good. A ggood size for families.. Probably bit too big if only 1-2 of you, as probably take that much longer until it needs emptying, which might make it a bit smelly. I was a bit worried this caddy might be too big to put on a kitchen worktop, but it isn’t and looks fine. We compost quite a lot in our household so being that bit bigger means not having to empty every day or two. The lid fits well and I’ve not noticed any nasty smells. I chose stainless steel to be on the safe side as I read a review saying their rose gold (?) one had flaked and I didn’t want to chance that happening if I bought a coloured caddy, (white would have been my first choice). Not cheap at £25 but I’m pleased with how the caddy looks, how much it holds and My5 not having noticed any smells coming from it

Having ordered and returned other comport bins this one ticks all the boxes.A Quality Product that is nicely finished off and looks Great ! on our kitchen worktop.With 5 Litres Capacity it holds plenty and the Soft Grip Handle adds the finishing touch.Well pleased and with good service, what more could you ask for.Highly Recommended !

We compost any food we can’t eat, so bones, peelings, shells, teabags etc. we had a plastic mini wheely bin style bin in the kitchen (I would be back and forth to the compost heap all day otherwise) but found it was attracting flies however many times I emptied it and washed it out during the summer. We chose the Red Factor bin because it looked good and promised to solve the problems we had - which it did. The lid has a filter in so no smells and it also seals nicely. I had also used compost bags in my old bin but they would spoil both the look and seal of this bin, and you really don’t need them, the bin is so easy to clean. However we have them supplied free by the council so I fold one into the bottom of the bin to stop anything sticking to the base and help the contents slide out without any scooping required. It chose this bin because it looks good, it is on display so that was an important requirement, I also prefer metal to plastic.
