Perfect for upper arms, and anywhere one can reach to relieve tension
Only firm massage on the outside and inner area of my upper arm could take out the tension making it hard to move my right upper arm in all directions. Maybe I have poor ergonomics. Regardless, this is so helpful to give a very firm and slow rolling down on my upper arm. The right is the worst, but I do both. Also, my left hamstring was giving me trouble yesterday, and I am using this to roller over the area behind my thigh to the back of the knee and then the calf to the back of the knee (never pushing hard on the back of the knee). Then, I am rollering over the top of the thigh too. I am not that strong, so just a regular grip to roller over the pressure points in areas I can reach, to get the energy flowing. It seems to be helping with that as well.Love this little roller. In fact, I drew a picture of what I was looking for incase my hands hurt to massage my left arm myself, and this popped out at me as the closest to my ergonomic sketch. Yeah! I was going to take the drawing to my Acupuncturist but will show him this at my next appointment. So nice to have this to assist in my home self-healing. It is close to self-acupressure only rolling instead of pushing particular pressure points to relieve tight muscles or other constriction. Who doesn't love getting a professional massage, but this just saved me $70, at the least.

Good roller
My son is a runner and loves this roller. Works well. Would recommend

It just fine
It's pretty good. I have soreness from exercise. While watching tv I use it on my thighs and hips. They feel a little better. It's more comfortable over clothes like a pair of pajamas or pants than on bare skin. It doesn't snag or catch. It holds in my hand just fine. the right size.

Great little massager!
I got this for the issues I have with Tennis Elbow. The area of concern can be awkward to rub or massage myself. This little thing is perfect for that purpose. It's easy to hold and control the kind of pressure you roll with. It's also super lightweight so you don't get tired holding it. I feel like this will serve me well in helping me to work through the tension and pain that often get caught up in my upper forearm.

Not the greatest. Better for lighter surface massage-- not for deep tissue.
I can see what other reviewers were saying in regards to the quality, I was hoping that was purely their own opinion, but I can confirm that this isn't the greatest of quality for even $10. It doesn't seem extremely sturdy for the long hall. The handle on mine keeps sliding around on the bar it's attached to, so I might have to glue it. Even though it hasn't broken (yet) I am hesitant to put pressure on it. Which is the ironic part, because to actually feel anything from this specific roller, I feel like you have to put some pressure-- since the materials are so incredibly lightweight. I've used it mostly on my arms and legs after exercising-- it works better on the arms than on my legs, if at all. I have another roller I use for a proper deep tissue massage that you can really put pressure on and feel it deep in the muscle. This one will have to do for extremely light, surface massage-- which I suppose has it's place...but I was hoping for a sturdier/heavier wood roller to do deeper muscle massage.

Great item
old-school technology is sometimes the best and that's true with this item. It does exactly what I need every time and it's sturdy so I can really press hard. Worth every bit of the $9!

Gentle yet firm on achy muscles
Gentle enough on sore muscles and gets deep into the muscles that doesn’t cause pain.

Extremely cheap
This is a hollow imitation version of the old solid wood massage rollers. The roller balls can barely be felt and if applied with any pressure they break off the track. Not a good buy.
