Spin Shine Rattle Developmental Toy (Colors May Vary)

The size of these are perfect for my baby. I bought so many because he loves them and wants them everywhere. I love that they are t too noisy and really easy to clean. Great value for your money, easy for him to hold and they look cute! I love the interactive rings in the middle for him to play with also.

I researched lots of rattles. We received lots of rattles for gifts. My baby had no interest in any of them. Enter the Spin and Shine. She couldn’t be parted with it from about 3 to 5 months of age. Now, at 7 months, this is still one of her go-to toys to play with in the car. The tiny center bar is a good size for an infant’s grip, and it’s textured — making this rattle experience even more tactile and appealing. The bright, high-contrast colors and patterns on the rattle keep baby visually stimulated. The “spin shine” refers to the clear ball, which contains a rotating (spinning) apparatus with a mirror (shine) and two high contrast patterns. The more baby shakes the rattle, the more this end spins and shines. This serves as a completely fascinating first foray into cause and effect for the little ones. This rattle can be purchased alone or as part of a newborn set of high contrast toys and teethers for the very youngest.

My baby loves this rattle! Only thing is I wish it was easier to clean, I’m nervous to get it wet because it could mold. My baby likes to put this in her mouth, and it seems the construction of the rattle is sturdy, although I watch her closely because of the small beads. She loves to grasp this and practice using her hands!

My daughter hasn't arrived yet, but I bought this for her (to qualify for free shipping on something else I bought) and I'm personally very happy with it, and can't wait to play with it with her! It's very tactile and engaging, not annoyingly noisy, and I love that the simple color scheme will be easy for her little eyes to pick up. It seems sturdily built, but keep in mind that I haven't actually given it to a child yet, so naturally a lot could still happen to it! Still, for the price, why not? It's delightful!

My daughter loves this toy when she was an infant and she still loves it even though she is almost 2yrs old. Excellent durability. She likes to look at it and when she was an infant she would try to fit it in her mouth even though it was obviously too big. Great with tummy time and dancing.

Very nice and the sounds are great..!! Pleasing to the eye and sensory.. what else could you ask for?? The love all around!!!

After reading the reviews I thought this would be a great new rattle for my 3+month old, but....not so much. My baby hasn't gotten into this toy yet. I don't think she understands it and honestly neither do I. It is supposed to be a rattle, but it doesn't rattle. The rings make a shaker noise; the noise you would expect plastic rings hitting each other to make and the spinner on the clear side makes a slight sound hitting the plastic, but there is no rattle to this at all. Additionally, this is labeled as ages 0 and up. For my 3+month old, this is a little too heavy for her and it only holds her attention for maybe 2 minutes-5 minutes and that's only if I shake it for her, but there is not enough to this where she can manipulate this herself enough to enjoy it. I didn't realize the round ends would be so big. She tries to put them in her mouth but they are way too big so she gives up. If the ends were just a little smaller where she could put them in her mouth but not so small that they would gag or choke her then this would be so much better. Maybe she will enjoy it more when she gets older where it will be a little easier for her to lift and understand that she has to move the rings out of the way in order to hold the bar. I plan on shelving this and trying again when she is maybe 6months. Very disappointed, as it looks cool and looked like a promising developmental toy. Maybe the problem is that it is mislabeled. It shouldn't be called a rattle and it shouldn't say for age 0+months.

I was looking for a rattle with black and white colors to exercise my baby's eyesight (they are the only colors a newborn will see). This rattle was perfect. The small mirror behind the black and white circles also drew my baby's attention.

As simple as this may look, my baby is absolutely captivated by it. The contrast in colors is different from anything I've really seen before in a children's toy. I recommend this product 100%
