Applies easily (I used a sponge for my garden benches) - even colour with 2 coats, and covers a LOT of area. Great stuff, and brushes (and sponges) wash out in water. No smell from it either, I did not notice any.

Wood stain came quickly and was used right away. Needed two coats and when finished looked very nice.It has rained several times since and seems waterproof.

Have used this (and other Rustins products) for years and always achieved good results. It’s very easy and forgiving to apply, with just the right consistency. Unless the wood is very smooth or absorbent, one coat is often enough to provide coverage and it goes surprisingly far even when coating quite generously.The subtle satin finish looks good in the garden and lasts well. Expect to reapply after a couple of years if exposed to intense sunlight or extreme weather but in more protected locations it stays looking good for several years. Having experimented with other brands, both cheaper and more expensive I have always returned to this one for reliability and good value.

I should have bot oil based stain

Easy to apply, goes a long way. I overcoated with yacht varnish on outdoor garden furniture so I won't know about longevity or hard wearing properties. Dries quickly and can be overcoated in a short time, conditions permitting as water based.

Product does exactly what I need, but was not packed well - lid of tin had popped open in the box. Luckily it was wrapped in plastic meaning leakage didn’t damage other contents but would have expected it to have been better packed/secured to prevent damage in transit.

Très beau rendu. Couvert un cabanon de 3m sur 3m. Sèche très vite.

Problème de conception du contenant, le couvercle du pot ne tient pas, la seule pression du liquide exercé sur le couvercle lorsque le pot est à l'horizontale suffit à faire sauter ce dernier.Reçu produit ouvert et complètement sec, par conséquent inutilisable (le produit sèche en 30 minutes).
