62 PC METRINCH Combination Wrench and Socket Set

This is actually the second 62-piece set I've purchased. I've owned this same set for approximately 20+ years and bought a second set to give it as a gift to one of my sons. This Metrinch set has met about 95% of my household/mechanic needs. Because it works on metric as well as standard sizes, I don't need to carry around a large set of tools. I always throw this set in my trunk when I go on trips, and is the first set I grab to handle projects in the house or in the garage.The price may seem a bit steep, but for me it is one of the best investments I've made in tools for my home. I've had to replace the case once, but that's only because of the amount of use these tools have seen. I highly recommend this tool set.

I had this Metrinch set for about 20 years, and used it for everything. Love it so much I picked up a second one for my car. No guessing if it's standard and metric. The only negative thing to be said is that because it grabs from the center of the nut and fits both metric and standard there is a little play. It is almost never an issue, but in very tight places. This small play can make it harder to turn the nut. A close quarters wrench minimizes this.

I carry a set in all vehicles with a few additions: voltmeter, needle nose, wire cutters and things like that. These tools always work, are compact and are well made. This is my second set and are just like the ones I purchased many years ago from an info commercial. I have the bigger set as well. I usually purchase S&K and other high end brands but Metrinch does measure up. In a pinch, I had to use the wrench as a hammer and it worked well.

This is the second set and is identical to the first set I purchased 25 years ago. The only reason for the 4 star is The square drive on the extension broke under normal use. Otherwise it’s been a great set. It’s compact size fits in the boat and is excellent for cars with mixed metric & imperial fasteners.

I live this tool set. I just bought my fourth set. One for my house, one for my workshop, one in my RV and now one in my second home in FL. This set is extremely high quality and really durable. Also, this small set covers 90% of tool needs. Highly recommend!!!

great starter set to get out of a jam. too pricey for value

organizes tools. great set. don't lose tools and easy to find wrench when needed, stays in place. Only got another one after 25 years because leant it out and never got back, they loved it too, and too far away to return.

Case. Have to thicken sponge pad,Because tool shift and fall of slots when CLOSED. Great tool set has almost everything you need in a wrench set. Not some China- Freight. knock Off.
