Card Box 1000

For the cost, this box works great (although think it could be a couple dollars cheaper). It does require some effort though if you want to put dividers and don't want the cards to fall over. I made dividers by cutting down 3x5 index cards, placing labels I printed on my label maker then bent the card over to easily view the label (as seen in the picture). Could have made them prettier by using different color index cards and labels, but it works for me. The cards I have in the picture are in the Ultra Pro Clear Soft Card Sleeves for Standard 2.5" x 3.5" cards. The sleeves are not a perfect fit as there is some extra sleeve above the card, but it helps hold them in place better and with the amount of cards I have (over 1000), I didn't want to pay a lot for the sleeves. Would rather put that money towards more sets/cards. Would say the biggest downside to using this box is the need to improvise such as making the dividers out of index cards and using foam or something else to keep the cards from falling over if the spot in the box isn't totally full such as not wanting to over crowd each section (as seen in the picture). I still have more cards to put in the box so some of the sections will be more full, but I haven't sleeved the cards yet. The foam was somewhat temporary, but will still use something to keep the cards from falling over if I move the box quickly or it gets turned on its side for some reason. All in all it is a great box, but wonder if I should have spent the money to just get the ready made foam or wooden divider for the original box now that I have 2 of these (didn't want to put all 1000+ cards in the same box). I gave it 5 stars, because I couldn't blame the box for needing the extra work. It is what it is and does what it is meant to do. Putting dividers in and not filling it up more than I have it is on me. Don't see a way where they could solve either problem since everyone's use of the box will vary. They could put thin dividers in similar to what I have the note cards for, but again this is a storage box...would say it isn't intended for daily play (or at least in my opinion).

I use this box to store cards for games like Magic and Pokemon. This box is best for keeping bulk amounts of cards that one might need quick access to. There are 5 different storage sections of different lengths. The dividing walls between sections have a useful notch at the top to make it easier to pull cards out. Both double sleeved and unsleeved cards fit well. 2 latches on either side of the box secure the lid to the base. While the latches feel light, I think they are secure and should keep the lid securely closed during everyday use. The boxes are not stackable, but one could theoretically use adhesive rubber feet to give them this ability if necessary. Overall this is a good solution for card game shelf storage and easy access.

These are very sturdy and reliable, the snaps and hinges don't rely on bending or flexing plastic so they won't wear out nearly as fast as other styles. They fit cards well, in protective sleeves or bare, but without any extra room for dividers. The only downside to these is they are too expensive to use to store a large volume of cards. I got 3 to hold my valuable cards and decks. If they were closer to $10 I would have bought a dozen.

These are perfect for mass card storage! I wanted a way to store a good number of cards but dislike what is looked at as the "traditional" cardboard box storage. The bottom row fits cards in cases no-problem. The upper row is ever so slightly smaller, and allows for only unsleeved cards or something like perfect-fit cases to be used. The latches work well to hold the lid tight and protect it from opening. The plastic material is strong and well built and can take a bit of a beating, good for in the back seat of a car or a closet or something with minor moving around but nothing crazy. I originally just got 1, but as my collection grows I am up to 4 of these. I cannot see myself buying any other kind of mass storage box now! Will be buying these in the future as my collection grows larger!

I bought the box to have a compact and safe way of storing and transporting my dice, counter and tokens. The plastic box seems sturdy and I am quite confident, that it will keep everything well protected. The hinges and clasps are made from separate pieces of plastic, which i was positively surprised by, i expected them to be the a type of living hinge (and thus maybe breaking after multiple times of usage). The lid is strong enough to safely stay closed, despite the weight of the dice and tokens in the box. I'm very satisfied with it.
