Yes they’re brittle, but so are all Neodymium magnets. It’s not a manufacturing defect. If you want them for kids to play with, doing just 10 minutes of research into magnet types will let you know what type of magnet is safe. I used these for craft projects, and they’re perfect. They are very strong, and increase in strength with size. They are hard to separate, but mainly because of their size. When they’re embedded in wood, or enclosed in fabric they’re perfect to stay firmly connected until you pull on them.

You get exactly what you order with these. They're neodymium magnets in various small sizes. Useful for all number of things.My only complaint is that they come in a steel tin. Dunno who thought making the container out of magnetic materials was a good idea. Good lord, getting the lid off can be a nightmare. The tin is padded though, so at least they won't break inside.

These are great little magnets — I still have some left after quite a bit of use! They’re really handy and strong enough for lots of purposes, whether it’s for the fridge, office, or crafts. I like that they stick well and hold things securely without slipping.That said, you do need to be a bit careful when handling them. If you put them together too quickly or with too much force, they can sometimes break or chip. It’s not a huge issue, but worth noting if you want to keep them in good shape.Overall, good value and useful magnets as long as you handle them gently!

These magnets are great, with a good selection of sizes/thicknesses to apply to different applications.Just don’t pull them apart and snap them together in their stacks too much as they can be brittle and will chip.

Needed some magnets to hang a flag in my works van and needed something with a bit of umph.Was a little hesitant about these as the price seemed a little cheap for what was been advertised. But boy was i surprised.The only cons for me are the sizes of the magents that look alot bigger in the pics than what you recive. But i can overlook that as they pack a serious punch.Also the do arrive in a metal tin to be prepared for a slight battle wen you open the lid other than that very impressed

I needed some magnets for my 3D printed projects and this was a fairly broad selection of sizes that covered all my needs for a relatively good price.The metal case is good and mine has no dents though I would prefer a plastic one to make it easier to open.But once open I could see at least 2 of the magnets were already broken, and given they were in the middle of others, I think it is safe to assume they were like this out of the factory... so quality control seems to be an issue here.The ones I already used are good and they are quite strong, so overall I'm happy with this.

I bought these magnets to see if they were as strong as some I has bought direct from a magnet seller in Sheffield who provided a more comprehensive description of strength etc. the magnets advertised were much cheaper. The magnets were not quite as strong but were still much stronger than magnets that are not neodymium. Fridge magnets are puny by comparison. These magnets will almost certainly work for the project I am planning where items weighing about 25 grams will need to move as if by magic using hidden magnets.Good value. I had to read the adverts carefully to see what I was actually getting.
