What is the difference between this GT1 20w50 and Kendall 1057267 GT-1 High Performance SAE 20W-50 Motor Oil with Liquid Titanium which costs more?

Is this the same Kendall GT green "racing spinach" that I bought in the 1960's and 1970's?

No it is not. But it's very good oil and I use it my performance cars. If you want that green oil I also use brad Penn. 20/50. Also very good oil.

Is for motorcycles also?

yes, i'm in CA and use it in my 2011 BMW R1200GSA. i used it in my 1981 BMW R100 as well. probably better suited to larger twins. ride safe.

Have a 1958 jaguar 3.4l engine recently overhauled. can i run synthetic or blend? or best to use gt-1 competition?

I’m using Kendall GT-1 Competition 20w50 in my 1991 BMW 318is. It has a flat tappet engine which requires a higher level of zinc and phosphorous than what is included in most motor oils these days, to avoid wear. I am somewhat limited in how high a concentration can be used in the BMW since it has a catalytic converter. The Kendall engineering Dept says that l’m ok with this oil. Since your Jaguar does not have the converter, you may want to consider Valvoline VR1 Racing Oil 20w50 which has more of the additives. If your Jaguar has roller tappets none of this matters. I see no problem using synthetic, but if you have flat tappets, the additives are a more important factor.
