Impatient Pamela Says: Learn to Call 9-1-1 Paperback – Picture Book, April 1, 2007

Now that my daughter is 8, we're working on her knowledge base for when she's home alone. I found this workbook on Amazon for $2.95 and its fantastic! It's only about 20 pages, but it goes through what an emergency is, what to do in an emergency, and what to say if you accidentally dial 911. (🙋‍♀️ I've done it)There's even a phone list and a certificate if completion. I highly recommend!

I was looking for a book to teach my 4 1/2 year old how and why to dial 911 without scaring her or panicking her that something bad was going to happen. This book is not for 4 year olds. It has activities in it and geared for like Kindergarten or 1st grade. She's having fun coloring the activities it though. I was looking for more of a story like book with engaging pictures, this wasn't it.

My only complaint about this book is that it should be more obvious that it's a workbook. Having said that, it's a cute coloring book that has activities that reinforce what's learned in the book. It's also inexpensive enough to do with a group. I highly recommend it.

This is NOT a book for chilren.. it's a coloring book for 1 child. I wish it said that somewhere. I bought it for my preschool to read to them on our monthly fire drill and review class. I guess I'll have to color it all just to make sense for them to understand it.

This is being used by my 911 telecommunicators to teach 911 at the fire open house and elementary schools.

I purchased this book for the fire department I was with for use in the local schools that the firefighters visit regularly to teach fire, water and home safety. It is a great book for teaching young kids about safety. The kids enjoyed it and they retained a lot of the lessons.

Cute little work book. Will be perfect to teach younger kids about the proper way to dial 911. It even includes a certificate. As A 911 dispatcher this is an excellent and inexpensive tool that I can use when I do public education.

This is a workbook, not a storybook. A child needs to be able to read and reason for this book to help.There is not much detail about the book listed. The details on the book tell more about the author than about the book. The details state stickers come with the book but the book I received did not have any stickers.
