It expanded promptly when I removed it from the packaging. It has just the right amount of soft and squishy give, and just the right amount of solid support, no matter how I lay on it. It maintains its form well. Ever since I have begun sleeping on it in a semi-upright manner, my burgeoning back pain has disappeared, and I wake up quite comfortable. It is much better than certain other support pillows I have tried that felt more like hard blocks; this most excellent triangle is quite similar to the hundred dollar memory foam pillow I had the good fortune to be gifted in the past. There *is* something of a possibility of sliding down it; I would recommend having it pushed back up against a headboard or something similar, so you can shuffle yourself back up it easily. I suspect it would also be quite useful on a sofa (or just a lower headboard than the one I have) so that your head doesn't bump into anything at the top; I am 5'3"-ish, and sleep on it so that my whole lower back all the way to the top of my head fits upon it just-so, but I'm not sure how well that would work for people taller than me or those with a longer torso. I assume those shorter than me would be fine though. All in all, a very superior triangle, would buy again.

I love this pillow. It's so well made. Worth every penny. My Acid Reflux Dr. suggested wedging my bed up or using one of these... Well, wedging a huge king size bed frame up is not an option and buying one of those adjustable motorized bedframes is out, have you seen how much those are??? Big coin. So here we are, wedging up baby! I wake up with chest pain from heart burn. Long time sufferer. I love how comfortable this pillow is. The cover is so soft too. I user pillows on top of mine wedging myself even higher. I sleep so much better!!!!! This is GAME CHANGING if you have allergies and GERD. Anyone who has this combo knows the life, it's misery! I have spent so much money trying to find the "right" pillow, that doesn't have much to do with wedging... but all things considered this wedge pillow used in conjunction to a nice feather pillow or gel foam type, man... you will be set for a much better sleeping arrangement.

I got this wedge hoping it would help with my acid reflux.. This wedge is well made but a little too firm for me. I slept on it for over a week but did not rest well. I think it is just a little too firm for what I need. Also I am a side sleeper and this is best for back sleepers. I had back spasms during the time I used it so I went back to propping up on my old pillows. I am keeping the pillow and letting another family member try it. Also it may work for propping up in bed to read so we will make use of the product and not mess with returning it.

This cushion is spectacular; my back is so grateful for it. When I had my wisdom teeth removed, this is what helped me sleep at night. The best part is that it comes with a washable cover.

This is just my opinion, I don't like it, it isn't comfortable to at all. Have not gotten any good sleep with this since i bought it. I was told to keep using it you will get used to it. Nope isn't happening for me, it hurts my neck and is in the middle of my back so i adjust several times a night and still no relief at all so i added a pillow to the top part got some with the neck but the rest of my back and hips hurt, i am a light person so the memory foam doesn't sink in with me. Sorry ,my opinion

Acid Reflux/GERD is absolutely no fun especially if it involves waking up to puke or finding some the next day. Since purchasing this pillow those nights are fewer and far between. By no means is this a cure but it does help tremendously with my symptoms. The pillow is firm but it hugs the body and has a nice incline. I was surprised at how small the box was when it arrived. After completing the 48 hour out of box/shrink wrap process the pillow was better than I initially expected due to the small box and shrink wrap. I have noticed since utilizing this item I no longer have lower back and neck pain upon awaking in the morning. Highly recommend this purchase and have sent links to several family members already.

I was having trouble breathing at night. I would wake up in the middle of the night, starving for oxygen. Doctors have no idea why. I also don’t have sleep apnea or acid reflux. My heart and lungs are very healthy, yet I can’t breathe! I’m young, very healthy, active, nutritious diet but I have this strange condition. The cardiologist and pulmonologist just can’t seem to find anything wrong. I took matters into my own hands and bought this. This pillow is a life saver! It keeps me breathing all night long and the next morning I feel rested and ready for my day. It took a bit of time to get used to sleeping on this but now it’s comfortable being elevated. I still wish I could sleep normally but I’m grateful for any relief I get. If you have trouble breathing at night, this is your answer. Just make sure to put a nice comfy pillow under your head while using this.

I bought this wedge after badly breaking my shoulder/arm as I needed to be raised up more, so this review is to help those with similar issues. 1) The wedge is too narrow for my purposes. If the broken shoulder is fully on the wedge (as it has to be) then my other elbow has to drop down on the bed. As I inevitably slide down the wedge during the night, my elbow jams a little and eventually it goes numb or I wake up. 2) The pillow is roasting hot. I don’t know what they mean by “cooling gel;” part of the wedge is just blue foam instead of white and it makes no difference at all to the heat generated. It’s probably not helped by the 100% polyester cover. No pillowcase is included and it’s beyond me to figure anything out while I’m one-armed. 3) I have used a sleep app (Sleep Cycle) for years. Reading the reviews I thought at least I’d snore less. Nope! My snoring has gone from well under an hour a night to well over three hours—probably because I’m sleeping on my back instead of my side. My poor husband is very unhappy. All in all I’d return this if I could figure out how to get it in a box, but hopefully I’ll only need it for a few more weeks and then I can go back to sleeping better and far more comfortably on my side. Update: I slid off this to the point that I jammed down on my broken shoulder and woke up screaming. Between that and the sheer heat coming off that thing, I’m returning this thing, whatever it takes.

I have been getting stuffed up when I sleep at night. I had allergy tests done and no allergies.So it is just when I sleep that I get stuffy .. Now that I have the wedge I can sleep without being stuffy

Oreiller ferme et confortable après quelques jours pour moi le reflux gastrique est efficace à 90% je suis très satisfaite . La seule chose j aurais aimé avoir un cache oreiller supplémentaire! J ajoute un petit oreiller pour mon confort et facile de dormir sur le dos et en position latérale.
