USB C Hub Multiport dongle, 8-in-1 USB C Adapter with 4K USB C to HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet,3 USB 3.0, SD/TF Card Reader

So far, so good. I was hoping to be able to use the HDMI port, but apparently the USB-C on my (Windows) laptop doesn't support Display Port Alt Mode--but that makes sense and it's OK since my laptop has an embedded HDMI port. The product's description is Apple focused and I purchased it anyway as I saw no reason why it wouldn't work for me, and it does. My primary considerations were additional USB ports and a wired Ethernet port. And all of those are working fine for me. I've also used the SD card slot which is easier to get the card in and out of than the one on my laptop. The hub is solidly built and includes a nice carrying bag to protect it when not in use or when thrown into a backpack or suitcase when traveling. I understand why it's this way, but for me it would be nice to have a longer connection cable coming off of the hub. In my situation the short cable puts the hub in a position that makes it a bit difficult to get to. I will likely look for an extension cable. But, all in all, I've been very happy with this after having it for about a week now.

All ports work well, faster transfers than USB 2 so cannot complain, will charge my surface laptop 3 as well as do data transfer and charge phone. Being the surface laptop 3 does not have thunderbolt I was wondering how much I would be able to drive from this hub. I am able to run monitor, connect USB drive, charge phone, and charge laptop. So winning. One thing I attempted and was not able to do was tether phone through USB sharing and run Ethernet to a desktop – this however is not a stated feature I was just seeing how far I could push this little hub. My phone was able to charge and connect to Ethernet so the hub even works fine on android. All in all happy with the purchase. The hub is small easy to travel with, expands ports out greatly and is multifunctional. Would I buy again – totally.

Compact design and useful port selection, but performance could be better. I’ve had this USB-C hub for quite a while and still keep it in my travel bag, mainly for light use. While data transfer is generally reliable, the overall speed is quite slow compared to other hubs I’ve used. The HDMI port has never worked properly, which has been frustrating. It doesn’t overheat, it does function — just not as fast or smoothly as expected. It gets the job done in a pinch, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

I've been using this product to cast an image from my computer to my TV. Before I got this hub, the process was more difficult. I needed a usb-c hub with an hdmi port and lan port. I like the versatility of the hub. It makes connections a lot easier. I also like the size. It’s very compact. I have only one concern with the hub. It gets hot...not enough to burn but it seems to be really warm, but when I hold it in my hand it cools down quickly. Not sure if I need to be concerned with this issue. Also, I'm sure I'll find other uses for it. Other than that, I am very happy with my purchase.

I bought this hub for my computer that had USBs sticking out of it from all over, so I thought this would help clean it up. I did and all the wires looked neat, and tidy, offering the same performance due to USB 3.0 and thunderbolt. Before you buy, heed my words, if you use a wireless headset, or periapical, that uses a 2.5 hertz frequency (found in the details section of the product) it will not function. Consider buying one of their other multiports that includes a USB 2.0 port so that the devices will not interfere. The quality is awesome, a very nice metal, and matte finish, give you the feel of a high quality device. The customer service was great, when I told them my headset did not work, the gave me troubleshooting, which also did not work, so my technician went and found my headset and searched for the reason it did not function, because of the inconvenience, she offered me to try the newest and largest hub that includes a 2.0 port allowing my headset to function, I would definitely recommend this product and hope you find the same experience with yours.

First, I want to thank Woohubs and Amazon for such fast service. I wanted to let you know why I purchased this product. I bought the new (like several people), the Chromecast TV Dongle and wanted to use this Woohubs unit for (Ethernet an External Storage). I read other reviews and decided to purchase this Woohubs USB C Hub. The unit is very sharp looking and looks to be very solid. I plugged the Chromecast TV power adapter into Woohubs unit next to the ethernet connection. I then plugged the Woohubs power USB C plug into the Chromecast. This was the only thing I had plugged in. The Chromecast TV would only power the (Google) letter and reboot several times. I could never get to the Chromecast TV home screen on my TV. I then plugged the ethernet plug into the Woohubs unit and the ethernet lights did come on, but could not do anything! The Chromecast works perfect without the USB C unit! Other people were buying USB C Hubs, and I really wanted this unit from Woohubs to work because I really liked their product! This unit will not work with Chromecast TV. I hope Woohubs will read this review and contact me for a solution before I make a return to Amazon for a refund. If their service can get this working, that will be great! Today is October 18th and will wait for few days for Woohubs service to contact me! I Should not have to purchase a new power adapter for this to just power this USB C Hub for power pass to the Chromecast TV. Other USB C Hubs work, but I wanted theirs to work! Did not hear from seller. Item was returned!

I bought this because my new Chromebook came with only 1 USB port and two USB-C ports. I need more. This multi-hub connects seamlessly between my charger (USB-C) and the computer port. It allows simultaneous charging and data transfer without a hitch. Everything, including wireless mouse receiver, works flawlessly as if it's connected to its own port directly on the computer. Multiple devices don't interfere with performance at all. Construction is solid enough but doesn't feel too heaviy as if it's going to rip up the computer port while carrying it connected across the room. Price was pretty good compared to others as well. And you can't beat a lifetime warranty. Overall quite happy with it and highly recommend!

Overall, a nice collection of ports. I'm using this only for HDMI; I haven't tried the other ports yet. So far, 3 problems enough to give this just a medium rating: 1) Whatever it's doing does not work properly with modern (2019) Macbook Pros, such that the Macbook Pro gets stuck on the "white apple" screen and cannot start while this is plugged in with a screen. This affects reboots, updates, anything that causes a restart. Sure, unplugging the device gets things going again, but should that really be the solution? Why can't it just work? 2) It's very "touchy". Even a slight poke or wiggle causes my HDMI screen to flicker and shift. This did not occur with my previous adapter. 3) It gets hot, like really really surprisingly hot. It seems that the designers chose to dissipate heat through the metal shell rather than through efficient electronics, and it's hot enough that I don't keep it near paper anymore. It's also a hassle when moving about, as you can't touch the thing for a few minutes even after unplugging. If you aren't moving, and are fine unplugging and replugging whenever you need to shutdown, I guess it's ok. I wanted something that "just works", so I'll keep looking for a replacement, probably a Satechi: similar design, 4x the price, but now I see why.

Me gustó mucho el producto es practico, viene con una bolsa para transportarlo, ademas de que no se calienta mucho, vi otros comentarios donde decían que se calentaba bastante y no es cierto, he usado el ethernet, HDMI y los 3 puertos USB a la vez y a lo mucho se pone tibio, que es algo obvio ya que estan siendo usados la mayoría de los puertos a la misma vez, pero si le das un uso más ligero no hay problema de sobrecalentamiento, muy buenos materiales y la relación calidad precio es más que suficiente, realmente pagas por un producto de buena calidad

Excelente producto lo llevo utilizando varios años, es muy práctico, el unico inconveniente es que al usar el HDMI se calienta mucho, pero es muy funcional.

Es buen producto en general, pero solo se queda en buen, hay que tener en cuenta que el USB c sea compatible para transmitir video.

Lo adquirí para conectar una laptop a la red. Además de poder usar cable LAN, ahora es posible tener múltiples contactos para USB 3.1 Lo único es que habrá que tener cuidado con el conector, ya que se ve muy frágil, tanto en el dispositivo como en la laptop

El precio que pague, en muy bueno, comparado con los que venden en otros lugares...... La funcionalidad, calidad, todo... Compralo!!!!
