I received all shapes as described. I was so worried that I might get all circles or 2 of the 3 shapes just like in some reviews. It came nicely packaged with plastic and cardboard. First off, I punched the packaging cardboard that came with the product to test out. The heart and circle were both fine but the star shape will not punch. It is too hard even if I use 2 hands to push. Hopefully I find the way to punch cardboard with star shape. Then I tried to punch out the origami paper, they all worked fine. It is actually easy to punch and was fun! Without paper, only star shape is not so smooth, meaning it required a bit more strength to push all the way and it makes a little bit of ckicking noise. I think this is because of the nature of star shape having 5 pointy area in such small space, NOT because the product is defective (because it punched the origami paper perfectly) The grips were good size and perfect softness. I just wish that they were pink because I like pink more than purple personally. Overall I am very happy with this purchase!

I’ve only used the heart so for but I used them to punch a holographic Cricut vinyl and they worked really well. I was pleasantly surprised. I did need a little muscle to get through both layers but it just took a little practice

I have loved this hole punch! I use it not only for craft projects but work and gift giving cards. It adds that perfect little tough to any paper. Highly Recommend!

Use for loyalty cards for my shaved ice business. Wanted different designs to represent different sizes. Only downfall is they are a little hard to use, takes a little strength. My kids help with doing the punch cards and these are too hard for them to use.

Durable hole punch

I ordered these because of the different shapes I thought I would get and in different sizes. I knew the quality wouldn't be so great. My regular puncher broke so I needed a replacement. I bought a nice medium-heavy duty puncher and then saw this one and thought of the flexibility of future crafts. I didn't get to use it until past the return deadline and then found that I got just the round punches instead. The barcode label must have been a mistake because it clearly printed "Shapes Set". I must admit I'm disappointed but I don't mind keeping these because of the low price... I do want to comment that the quality is no different than the dollar version; it will cause some discomfort after a few punches even with the comfort grips. It's not a smooth action.

The reviews for this product are mixed so I was nervous, but I received exactly what was described in the product description. 3 hole punches, 3 different shapes (star, heart, circle) the star & heart are 3/16" and the circle is 1/4" punches. No, they aren't fancy and once you empty the punches you have to wiggle the catcher until it clicks shut. But I needed these for my children to use for listening activities and learning games. My nicer hole punches are too hard for them to punch--it's a struggle--these ones they can use without assistance. My 4 year old was so excited he could do it himself. My almost 3 year old still needed some help the first few times until he figured out his fine motor skills and where to hold the punch. (In the back not the middle.) One major pro is that the punch catcher (once clicked) shuts super tightly so none of the punches shake out as a child lifts ithe puncher vertically. :) Not all punchers are like that.

I dont know what is going on with this punch. It really doesn't do its thing. It will hand up when punching ans has to be spread apart to use again. Tickets are standard thin cardboard and this should not have any problems doing that, but it does.

I have used a number of these punches as i cannot find anything better that will punch 5/16" (8mm) holes. The lever arms bend after a while and they are hen of no use. I use them to punch holes through folded 160gsm card. I am sure they are great and will last much longer if punching paper or single card. They are very inexpensive and I just buy three at a time and discard them when they bend.
